Chapter Sixteen
Task Force(Nobody's Pov!)
The headmaster stared at the kids in front of her desk. "This is very serious." The headmaster said, moving her hair out of her face.
"May was drugged at the party and then Mackenzie and Maddie were also drugged during our last mission." Philip spoke, trying to remain calm.
"We think there's a link between the two. They used a drug that took away their powers and made them weak and dizzy." Alcameano said.
"That's interesting. We have a medication here thats similar. It's made to help heroes with really strong powers. It's called a Power Tranquilizer. I've never heard of anything that gets rid of your powers completely for a certain amount of time." The headmaster said, tapping her chin as she thought about the medication.
"Maybe if you give someone enough it can!" Maddie said, thinking that the traitor may have used this medication.
"I'm not sure. It's locked up in the nurses office so I don't know who could have broken into it. I have cameras. We can check the cameras and see if anyone opened the cabinet besides the nurse." The headmaster spoke, opening up the cameras on her computer.
"As for now, I trust you guys. You've brought this to my attention and you've been through a lot of your last mission. Don't tell your classmates about this, but you guys are assigned to a special mission. I don't tolerate any villainy of any sort let alone in my school. You'll be my task force. You'll handle this mission and when we figure out who it is we'll put a stop to this." The headmaster spoke, anger in her eyes. How could a person like this get into her school? How could she let this happen? How could she put her students at risk? She was angry at herself for not being more cautious.
"Really? Us?" Maddie said, her eyes wide. They were getting a special mission from the headmaster! They were becoming real heroes!
"You guys aren't going to believe this." The headmaster muttered, motioning for the gang to come look at the computer. Everyone gathered around and watched as the headmaster played the video back.
The door to the nurses office opened and a person walked in, peeking around the corners for the nurse. They rushed towards the cabinet and opened it up. They searched through the bottles and packets before grabbing something and rushing off.
"What the hell!?" Maddie gasped, her eyes widening. "I don't believe it." The headmaster muttered.
"Let's go talk to her." Mackenzie spoke. "Report back to me as soon as you find out more. We'll go from there." The headmaster spoke, sighing as she thought about this.

"Hey, We need to talk." Maddie spoke, the gang following behind her. That's when Lacey spun around, tilting her head. Maddie gasped when she saw Lacey. Her uniform was messy and she had bags under her eyes. Maddie stared in shock at Lacey. Normally Lacey was put together and proper, but today she looked destroyed.
"Lacey, Why were You stealing from the nurses medicine cabinet?" Maddie asked, raising an eyebrow. Lacey tried to brush off Maddie's question, but Philip stepped forwards.
"You better start talking or you're taking the blame for these damn drugs." Philip growled, clenching his fists.
That's when Lacey broke down and started sobbing. Everyone gasped and stared at Lacey as she sobbed. Maddie walked towards her and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder.
