Chapter Eleven
The Only One(Nobody's Pov!)
Maddie walked back and forth in front of MacKenzie's door. Mackenzie hadn't come out in a couple days. Maddie had been leaving food in front of her door so obviously she's eating, but what is she going through in there?
Maddie sighed and looked down at her phone. Emily was supposed to meet her here two hours ago. Maddie wanted to try to talk to MacKenzie and she needed Emily here to come to help comfort their friend. Maddie put her phone in her pocket and looked around. There was no sign of Emily.
Maddie sat down in front of mackenzie's door. She pressed her head into her knees and closed her eyes for a moment.
"Maddie?"
"Maddie!"
"Huh?" Maddie muttered, looking up. She was blinking trying to adjust her eyes to the blinding lights of the hall.
"What time is it?" Maddie asked, rubbing her eyes.
"Uh.. it's like three in the morning." Emily said, staring down at Maddie who had fallen asleep in front of MacKenzie's door.
"What the hell.." Maddie muttered, finally getting to her feet. Maddie stared into Emily's eyes, noticing Emily was covered in flour and chocolate.
"What the hell were you doing?" Maddie asked, tilting her head at Emily.
"Sorry I was giving Dakota baking lessons and we lost track of time. I'll be there next time." Emily said, about to walk away. That's when Maddie lost it.
"What the hell, Emily! Mackenzie needed you! I needed you and you weren't there! What happened to doing this together? Supporting each other when we need it!" Maddie yelled, clenching her fists.
"What?! I've been following you two around for years! I've finally started doing things for myself and now you're mad?!" Emily yelled, taking a step towards Maddie.
"No! It's about not being there when your friends need you! We've supported you through everything and the one time Mackenzie needs you, you aren't there!" Maddie shouted, tears filling her eyes. She couldn't take this!
"Oh come on! You act like MacKenzie won't bounce back! She's going through a small problem!" Emily yelled, rolling her eyes.
"Why are you so selfish!" Maddie screamed. Emily clenched her fists and stormed off towards her room leaving Maddie behind. Maddie sighed and leaned against the wall. How could Emily be this way?

"Dakota, you'll never believe what Maddie did." Emily growled, storming into Dakota's room. He sat up from his bed and raised an eyebrow.
"Emily?" Dakota questioned, sitting on his bed. He tapped his bed and Emily walked over with mixed emotions. She was so sad, but so angry at the same time.
"What happened, huh?" Dakota asked, staring at Emily in a sleepy state.
"Remember how we got distracted when I was teaching you how to bake? Yeah, I ended up forgetting to meet Maddie at MacKenzie's room and she started shit with me about being a couple hours late." Emily explained, crossing her arms.
"Wow what a bitch. Don't you worry about her anymore. I'm the only one on your side and I always will be. Just remember that." Dakota said, pressing his hand against her cheek. Emily smiled and snuggled into his dainty hand.
