Is it love? [Regulus x Reader]

Chapter 6

When my eyes opened I was met with Sirius and Remus staring at me, Jamws pacing back and forth, but Peter was nowhere to be seen. The three boys stood at the foot of the bed.

"Where is Peter?" I quick sit up

"He went out to get something. We don't know what though." Remus sighed

James ran over at the sound of my voice and hugged me a little too tight.

"James I swear to god if you break one of my ribs I will make it my life long job to kill you." I stared daggers at him

He chuckled nervously, let go and took a step back.

"So what happened?" Sirius asked

"Pads!!" James elbowed him

"Ow! What?!" He yelled back

"You need to give her space!" Remus yelled at the some tone but still aphid sincerity in his voice

I laughed at their bickering just for them to look at me confused. Covering my mouth, I tried to hold back the laughs.

"Laughing is good right?" Sirius asked, still concerned

"I'm fine!" I managed to mutter out through the laughs

"I feel like an idiot now." Sirius and James said in unison and sulked

Smiling at them, I noticed Peter walk through the door. He had his hair slightly ruffled up- however they all did- and a bag in his hand.

"What's in the bag?" I asked as I eagerly sat up

All the boys smiled as I was handed the bag. When I opened it up I saw two books on the same thing. They were both listed 'muggle studies'.

"Is this?" I smiled

"It was moony's idea." Peter spoke

"Moony!" I got up and hugged him

"It will never be as good as my knowledge on muggles but oh well." He smiled back

I sat back on the foot of the bed as we all talked.

(When they got back to Hogwarts)

We all walked back into the common room to find the three girls sitting there. Lily walked over to me with a stern face.

"Where have you been?!" She asked, "Beds empty! No note! You could have died!"

"Thanks for the concern Lily." I smiled weakly at her, "And for my friends. And my brother, your boyfriend." I smirked at her

Her and James started to blush and look away.

"So?" She continued, "where have you been?"

"With mum." I smirked before walking away

I could hear the boys dying with laughter as I left to go upstairs. Once I got to my room I sat on my bed with my two new books to read. When I started reading Marlene walked into my room while a smile spread across her face as she closed the door.

"What did you do?" I asked as closed the book and put the book down

"I may or may not have slapped your brother for taking you out of lessons." She laughed out loud

"What?!" I started to die laughing

Suddenly, James walked in with a huge red mark spread across his cheek.

"Vix! She slapped me!" He wined

"And you deserved it!" She wined back with the same tone

He stomped out like a child and we continued to laugh our heads off. An owl came and swooped through the only open window to land on my lap with a letter. Our laughs stopped as I picked it up to see the Black's seal on it. When I opened it Marlene walked out with a grin on her face.

Y/N,
We need to meet. Come to the room of requirements.

I sighed before writing back.

Regulus,

I'll be there in 10 minutes.

Once I finished I gave it to the owl with the Potter Seal on it and it flew off. I walked out and down stares to see the others bickering sillily and laughing. Luckily, I was able to sneak past and leave the common room.

(In the room of requirements)

When I got there Regulus and Barty were already there. The room had been changed to a smaller and comfier version of the library.

"I'm here." I mumbled as I closed the door

Regulus was sitting at a table and Barty had his nose in a book but both their gazes turned to me.

"We missed our 'study session' at lunch so I thought why not have it now." Regulus's face was emotionless as he spoke

"Fine." I sat down next to him

Barty shortly came over with a stack of books on the things we needed to study. The books had different names and some of the main things were Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration. We quickly got to work noting down everything we needed to remember. An hour or so went by as we shared notes and bickered about who was correct with different things that we had found.

"I'm telling you! You get to choose the animagus you turn into!" Barty almost yelled

"You don't!" I laughed, "It's what animal describes you the most!"

"Fine then." He sounded as if he gave up, "You would be a pig then." Barty smirked as if he had just said the funniest thing in the world

"Barty." Regulus warned him

"Joking joking." Barty laughed, "Or am I?"

I kicked him from under the table, causing him to yelp in pain and rub his leg.

"Nice one." Regulus smiled at me

We continued to talk, laugh and argue until it was late so we all left the room of requirement.
