Is it love? [Regulus x Reader]

Chapter 61

Y/N sat down in between Fred and George in the great hall. Their head was spinning and they didn't get much sleep the last few nights.

"Are you good?" Fred asked

"I'm... fine." Y/N pressed their palm against their forehead, "Just a little dizzy."

"You should go to Madam Pomfrey." George said

Y/N looked over at the Slytherin table and saw Regulus. He didn't look to good either. They watched him leave the great hall without eating. Y/N stood up.

"Y/N, you haven't eaten anything." Neville pointed out

Quite a few of the people on the Gryffindor table turned their attention to Y/N.

"I just need to check on something." Y/N walked out the great hall

Y/N saw Regulus walking to The Hospital Wing.

"Reg." Y/N walked over

"What's going on?" Regulus asked, "Why is this happening?"

Mcgonagall walked over to the two and saw their faces.

"I can't understand why this is affecting you so early, Regulus. But it's about time for Y/N." Mcgonagall said

"What do you mean?" Y/N held the wall for support

"It's to do with the time turner. Take the rest of the year off. Go home. Seeing as you've already done your OWLs before." Mcgonagall told them both

"We'll take the train tomorrow." Regulus nodded

She smiled at them both and walked off.

"I should write a letter to Moony and Padfoot to say that we will be returning soon." Y/N started to walk to the Gryffindor common room

"Wait." He grabbed their wrist, "Do it in The Hospital Wing. That way, someone will know if we pass out or something."

Y/N nodded. The two walked to The Hospital Wing and explained most of it to Pomfrey. They sat down on one of the beds and Y/N began to write. Every now and then, Y/N's arms felt weak so Regulus would take over in writing.

My dearest, Moony and Padfoot,

Something has come up in mine and Regulus' health. Mcgonagall said it could have something to do with the time turner so we will be returning to 12 Grimmauld place soon. She told us to get rest and not do much when we get back so we won't be able to help with many of the 'Order' problems. Our things will be delivered to Grimmauld place tomorrow morning and we will arrive tomorrow night.

Regulus gave the letter to Owlen and she flew off with it.

"What now?" Y/N asked

"You two should get some fresh air." Pomfrey told them both, "Then you're ready to be on your way tomorrow."

The two walked out the room and made their way to the Quidditch pitch. Today, Gryffindors we're training. Harry flew down after seeing Y/N.

"Don't you have a class to get to?" Harry asked

"Harry." Y/N sighed, "We... We won't be here for the rest of the year. Something is happening to us both and we can't be in Hogwarts when it happens."

"What about the OWLs?" Harry raised an eyebrow

"We did do them. Back in the 70s that is." Regulus shrugged

"Stay safe." Harry hugged Y/N

"You too." Y/N hugged him back

"We came to watch the practice before we left." Regulus changed the subject

Harry went back to practice while Y/N and Regulus sat and watched.

The next day, Owlen flew into the great hall and landed in front of Y/N. She was holding a letter.

"Who's it from?" Harry asked as Y/N took the letter

Harry looked over and saw Sirius' handwriting.

"Sirius?" Harry said

Y/N nodded, "It seems so."

Y/N opened the letter.

My dearest Vix,

Take the break you need. Me and Remus both know you deserve it after everything you've done. Everyone will support you no mater what you decide.

The letter I received from you yesterday, I noticed a comma in the middle of the phrase. It changed the meaning of this, did you intend this? One stroke and you've confused my waking days. It says 'My dearest Moony and Padfoot' with a comma after dearest. You've written: 'My dearest, Moony and Padfoot'.

Anyway, all this to say, we don't mind if you come back now or at the end of the year. As long as you get what you need.

Y/N finished reading it and smiled.

"There's a PS." Harry pointed out

P.S: tell Regulus to not cause trouble. That's mine, James', Peter's and Your job.

(Notice how Remus wasn't included because he's a 'teachers pet')

Don't tell him I said that!

"Sirius is an idiot." Y/N chuckled

They folded the letter back up and looked at everyone around them. Soon, Y/N's eyes landed on Regulus.

"What time does the train arrive?" Y/N asked the Gryffindors

"In 23minutes." Hermionie told them

Y/N got up and walked over to the Slytherin table, and over to Regulus.

"What do you want, Weasley?" Crabbe hissed

"I'd prefer Potter, Crabbe." Y/N tried to smile at him

"We're busy, Potter. Leave." Draco looked up at them

They looked down at him and crouched down slightly.

"How about you go back to snogging my nephew." Y/N whispered to him

Draco went silent.

"We gotta go." Y/N told Regulus

Regulus and Y/N got up and left the room. They walked to the train station and waited for the train.

"Isn't it going to be 20minutes? Why are we here so early?" Regulus asked

"Did you really want to spend even one more second in that school with Umbridge?" Y/N asked

"Fair enough." Regulus shrugged

The two continued to wait for the train.

"Isn't it a crazy coincidence that your uncle, Alphard, fell in love with my father; your cousin, Andromeda, fell in love with a Tonks; you fell in love with two Potters; and Sirius fell in love with Remus?" Y/N thought

Then, the train arrived.
