Chapter 33

"No reason." Y/N lied, "What did you need from me 'Mionie?"

Harry and Ron walked in.

"Hey Carrot, hey Bambi." Y/N smiled

"I hate my nickname." Ron crossed his arms

"We need to go to class." Hermionie changed the subject

The four of them headed to their class. After a few classes, and Hagrid's class, it was lunch. Seamus ran over with a daily profit.

"He's been sighted! He's been sighted!" Seamus yelled

The four ran over and looked at the daily profit.

"Dufftown? That's not far from here!" Hermionie looked at the profit

"You don't think he could come to Hogwarts, do you?" Neville asked

"There's Dementors at every entrance." A boy said

"He slipped past them once. Who's to say he won't do it again?" Seamus asked

Y/N looked down at the profit. It was the picture taken just before he was thrown in Azkaban.

"We should get to class." Y/N rolled up the profit and tucked it into their robes

"We have DADA." Harry reminded everyone

They all headed to Remus' class. Just like Remus had said to Y/N, we were learning Boggarts. Everyone walked into the class room.

"Y/N, could you assist me for this lesson?" Remus asked

"Of course, Professor." Y/N stepped forward

"You have learnt about what is in that wardrobe, can you tell me what it is?" Remus asked

"It's a boggart. No one knows what it looks like because boggarts are shape-shifters. They take the shape of whatever a person fears the most. That's what makes them so terrifying." Y/N explained and looked down at the ground

Remus stepped over to the wardrobe.

"Luckily, a very simple charm exists to repel a boggart." Remus said, "Let's practice it now. Without wands, please."

Y/N looked up and remembered they were standing in front of everyone, so they'll have to demonstrate.

"After me. Riddikulus." Remus said

"Riddikulus." The students repeated

"Riddikulus." Remus said again

"Riddikulus." The class said, louder

"Very good. But what really finishes a bogart is laughter." Remus said, "You need to force it to assume a shape you find truly amusing."

A few students went through it until it was Y/N's go. Harry was behind Y/N and nervous.

"Y/N.Do you know what you're doing?" Remus asked

"I think I cam manage, Professor." Y/N pulled out their wand

Remus unlocked the wardrobe and the boggart came out. He expected for it to turn into Wallburga, like last time, but it didn't. It formed a bright light in front of Y/N's eyes. Y/N could see what they never wanted to see again, James and Lily's death. A few tears fell from Y/N's eyes and the whole class watched.

"Y/N?" Remus walked over

Remus pulled Y/N back and stood in the way of the boggart. It turned into a moon.

"Riddikulus!" Remus shot the spell

The moon turned into a balloon and flew around the room before ending up in the wardrobe once more.

"Class over. Everyone collect their things." Remus ordered

The glass groaned and picked up their things before leaving. Y/N still stood in the middle of the classroom in shock.

"Y/N?" Remus walked in front of Y/N's view, "What did you see?"

"Why did you bring me here?" Y/N asked

"To help stop Voldemort." Remus said, "Why?"

"Why couldn't we stop him back in the 1970s?" Y/N Looked up at him

"Y/N. Everything has its reasons. None of this could have happened if we didn't do it now." Remus placed both hands on their shoulders, "Can you tell me what you saw?"

They sat down at a desk.

"I saw James and Lily die again. I thought it would turn into Wallburga again, but it didn't. It caught me off guard." Y/N explained

"Why did you expect Wallburga to appear and why did you say she was your tormentor?" Remus asked

Y/N rolled up their sleeve and showed the scar. Harry walked into the room.

"Am I interrupting something?" Harry asked

He saw something on Y/N's arm.

"What's that?" He pointed to Y/N's arm

"Don't worry about that. What do you need?" Y/N changed the subject

"Can we talk." Harry looked at Remus

Y/N and Remus shared a confused look.

"It's hot in here. Let's talk somewhere else." Y/N stood up

The three headed outside and ended up on the bridge.

"Three things. First off. Why are you two so close. You're a professor and you're a student." Harry started off, "Second. Why is Sirius Black after me? Third. I want to talk about the dementor."

"Rem, explain how we're so close." Y/N nudged Remus

"I used to look after them when they were little." Remus lied

"I thought you were a Weasley." Harry looked at Y/N

"Unofficial adoption." Y/N shrugged, "I was with Rem before the Weasleys." They added to the lie

"What about Sirius Black?" Harry asked them both, "Why is he after me?"

Y/N crossed their arms and turned their head away.

Harry raised an eyebrow, "What's wrong with you?"

"He... tried to kill me." Y/N lied

Harry's eyes softened. They hated the things they kept from their nephew but it was for his safety and they knew that.

"I'm sorry." Harry acted as if it was his own fault, "Is that why Mr Weasley said he'd be after both of us?"

"Probably." Y/N shrugged, "Oh well."

Y/N looked at both of the boys before out at the horizon.

"I'll leave you two to talk about the dementor." Y/N walked off

They walked to the Forbidden forest until seeing two people talking. The two were looking over a fence at the Shrieking Shack.

"Hermione? Ron?" Y/N walked over, "What are you doing here?"

"We we're just talking about the Shrieking Shack. What are you doing here?" Hermione turned to them
