Chapter 69

Y/N had been back at Grimmauld place for a few days. They had gotten letters about how bad the school had gotten. Sirius walked into the room.

"You called?" Sirius asked

"Yes." Y/N nodded, "Don't reak out about it. And definitely don't tell anyone about this."

"Ok? What is it?" He grew impatient

Y/N casted a spell on the room so no one could hear them.

"James and Lily are alive." Y/N revealed

"What?!" Sirius yelled, "Why haven't you told anyone?"

"Regulus knows, he found out. You can meet them on one condition." Y/N said

"What is it then?" Sirius asked

"You accept death?" Y/N smiled awkwardly

He blinked a few times in confusion.

"Listen. We're going to have to help Harry soon in the Ministry. I've looked into the future and you end up dying. If you agree to this, you won't die and you can go to James and Lily." Y/N explained

"How will I not die then?" He asked

"I can make a copy of you and that one can die. But it has to be done now." Y/N said

Sirius nodded. Y/N casted the spell and a copy of Sirius appeared.

"It has the same memories and thinks the same way you do." Y/N told him

"So, where are James and Lily?" Sirius asked

"I'll show you."

They opened the door and took the spell off the room before teleporting the two away. The two arrived at the Potter manor. Y/N knocked on the door and Al opened it.

"Y/N! Sirius? Sirius, you can't be here." Al said

"I've brought him here." Y/N told him

Al led the two into the lounge. Lily and James were sitting down.

"James." Sirius smiled

James stood up and hugged Sirius.

"Why are you here?" James asked

"He was going to die tomorrow." Y/N explained

They all had a look of sorry plastered over their faces.

"The copy has been placed, it's only a matter of time." Y/N said

"You should get going, Y/N." Lily told them

"Yeah. Stay discreet. Don't tell anyone you're here." Y/N teleported back

Y/N arrived back at Grimmauld Place, no one had noticed that Sirius had been swapped.

"Harry and his friends need help. We have to go." Remus walked into the room, "Are you in need of blood?"

"I'm fine." Y/N reassured him, "Have you seen Regulus?"

"Narcissa and Lucius called him to the Malfoy Manor. He said he would go alone and we haven't seen him since." Remus told them

"Ok. I'll go on ahead, to help Harry. You guys catch up." Y/N said

They arrived early.

"Can you tell what they're saying?" Harry walked over to an arch in the middle of the room

"There aren't any voices, Harry." Hermione said, "Let's get out of here."

"I hear them too." Luna said

Y/N stepped forward.

"Same." Y/N added

"It's just an empty archway." Hermione told them, "Please, Harry!"

Harry turned around and looked up, Y/N did the same.

"Get behind me!" Harry pointed his wand up

Everyone, except Y/N, stood by Harry and pointed their wands up as well. A black smoke covered the room and Y/N found themselves trapped with a Death Eater, Regulus? Y/N saw the pain in his eyes as he held Y/N back. The Imperius Curse.

"Reg, please." Y/N begged

"I'm sorry." He whispered

Lucius walked over to Harry.

"I'll make this... simple for you, Potter." Lucius put his hand out, "Give me the prophecy now... or watch your friends die."

"Harry!" Y/N choked, "Don't- give it to him!"

Harry gave Lucius the prophecy. Sirius appeared and walked over.

"Get away from my godson." Sirius punched Lucius

The rest of the Aurors appeared and knocked down the Death Eaters. Y/N ran over to the injured Regulus.

"Regulus. Don't freak out about this, ok." Y/N told him

"Ok." He tried to catch his breath

They bit their wrists and the blood started to flow out. Y/N gave the blood to Regulus and made him drink it. His injuries healed. Y/N got up and ran to Sirius and Harry.

"Black!" Lucius pointed his wand at Sirius

Sirius, Y/N and Harry shot spells at the Death Eaters. Regulus ran over to the kids.

"You need to get out of here!" Regulus hissed

"I saw what you did to Y/N! You're a Death Eater!" Ron whispered, "Does Y/N know? Would they have even married you if they knew?"

His eyes widened.

"Enough! You need to leave!"

"Avada Kedavra!" Bellatrix shot Sirius

Harry stumbled back as he watched. Y/N pulled Sirius away from the arch as the light dimmed from his eyes. They had to let him go, it was the copy anyway. Y/N made it look like a struggle before letting go of Sirius' body. He floated into the arch and his soul was trapped.

Harry tried to get him back in any kind of way but Remus pulled his back. Y/N looked around and saw Regulus almost crying. They forgot to tell him, they couldn't tell him now, not like this. Harry tried to pull away from Remus put he just held him closer.

"Harry! Listen! Look at me!" Y/N told him

He looked them in the eyes.

"It'll be ok." Y/N reassured him, "This can be fixed."

None of this helped. Harry ran after Bellatrix and Y/N ran after Harry.

"I killed Sirius Black!" Bellatrix sang, "He's coming to get me!"

"Crucio!" Harry yelled

Bellatrix fell to the floor. Harry stood in front of her, Y/N stood behind him.

"Harry, don't. She's not worth it." Y/N tried to reason with him

"You've got to mean it, Harry." Voldemort's distorted voice ran though both of their ears, "She killed him. She deserves it. You know the spell, Harry."
