Chapter 22

The group sat in the hall the next day. They were talking about the quidditch match that day. Y/N started to call Harry by a nickname they came up with.

"How are you so excited? You don't now if we're gonna win?" Harry asked Y/N

"Chill, Bambi. Trust me." Y/N chuckled

"Why do you call Harry 'Bambi'?" Hermione asked

"It's an inside joke." Y/N stood up, "I'm going to the quidditch pitch."

They walked out the hall and Olivier Woods followed them as well as the twins and Harry.

"I hate the nickname 'Bambi'." Harry groaned

"And I like it. Deal with it, Bambi." Y/N skipped to the pitch

Fred tripped Y/N with his broom but Y/N only stumbled and didn't fall over.

"Come on Freddie!" Y/N wined

"Come on N/N!" Fred mimicked their tone

George started laughing. Everyone got into uniform and walked out onto the pitch. It was Gryffindor against Slytherin.

The match started and Y/N already scored 4points for Gryffindor. Slytherin's beaters tried to distract Harry with the buldgers but Gryffindor's beaters stopped them. Y/N scored Gryffindor another 12points. Oliver missed a few quaffles and Slytherin got 10points.

Slytherin got 8 more points. Harry's broom started to mess around. Hermionie say that Snape was whispering incantations and set fire to his cloak, causing a big commotion.

Harry and Slytherin's seeker were chasing the snitch. Slytherin's seeker was just about to catch it when it disappeared and Harry fell off his broom. Everyone gasped in shock. Harry sat on the grass looking like he was about to throw up. Y/N jumped off their broom and ran to him. He suddenly coughed up the snitch.

"And he's got the golden snitch!!" Someone yelled

"We did it Harry! I told you we would do it!" Y/N hugged him

The rest of the Gryffindor team ran over.

"We did it!" Oliver cheered

A day or so later, the group was walking with Hagrid.

"Nonsense! Why would Snape put a curse on Harry's broom?" Hagrid asked

"Who knows?" Y/N shrugged

"Why was he trying to get passed that three-headed dog on Halloween?" Harry asked

"Who told you about Fluffy?" Hagrid turned to them

"Fluffy?!" Ron repeated

"That thing has a name?" Hermionie stared at Hagrid

"Of course he would have a name, 'mionie." Y/N laughed

The group looked at Y/N strangely.

"He's mine." Hagrid continued walking, "I bought him off an Irishman. I leant him to Dumbledore to guard-"

Hagrid stopped in his tracks.

"Shouldn't have said that. No more questions! That's top-secret."

He spilt even more secrets and Y/N slapped him on the arm. Hagrid walked off and the group walked back to the castle.

It was now the start of Christmas break. Most people were leaving except Ron, Y/N and Harry. Y/N and Ron stayed behind for Harry. The boys were playing chess.

"I see you haven't packed." Hermionie walked over

"Change of plans. My parents are going to Romania to visit my brother Charlie. He's studying dragons there." Ron spoke simply

"Another brother?!" Y/N cried, "How may do we have now?"

"You have 6 and 1 sister." Ron smiled

"Good. You two can help Harry. He's going to the library to search for Nicholas Flamel." She sat down

"We've looked 100times!" Y/N wined

Hermionie stood up and walked off.

"Not in the restricted section." Hermionie whispered, "Happy Christmas."

"I think we've had a bad influence on her." Ron said to Harry

"I'm going to go write a letter." Y/N left the hall

They walked into their dorm room to see everyone else's things packed. Y/N pulled out some paper and a quill and began writing.

Dear Moony,

You probably thought I went missing during our last year of Hogwarts. I have a lot to explain but I can't over letter. We need to talk. I need to catch up on everything that's happened. I'm currently staying with Arthur and Molly Weasley, do you still stay in contact with them?

I hope this letter finds you in good health.

They gave the letter to Owlen and she flew out the window.

The boys were chaotic over Christmas break but it got worse on Christmas Day. Ron yelled for Harry and Y/N to get up.  Y/N got downstairs first. Harry ran to the banister and looked down at the common room. Ron and Y/N stood in the middle with may presents.

"Happy Christmas, Harry." Ron said

"Happy Christmas, Ron and Y/N." Harry walked down the steps, "What are you wearing."

Y/N started laughing. Ron was wearing a hand-made sweater with the letter 'R' on it to signify 'Ronald'. Y/N also had one, except it was more prettier and had 'Y' on it to signify 'Y/N'.

"Oh, my mum made it. Looks like you've got one too." Ron smiled

"I've got presents?" Harry asked

"Yeah." Y/N looked over at him

A smile made it's way across Harry's face as she started to open his. He pulled out a letter from one of them.

Your father left this in my possession before he died. It is time it was returned to you. Use it well.

Harry read out the letter. It was an old cloak.

"No way!" Y/N yelled

"What is it?" Ron asked them

Harry already got the answer. He wrapped the cloak around him and his body disappeared.

"It's called an invisibility cloak. Whatever it covers turns invisible. It's part of the Deathly Hallows." Y/N explained

"Like in the story mum read us?" Ron asked

Y/N nodded.

"That's bloody epic!" Ron laughed

"So. I'm invisible?" Harry asked

"Yeah. I wonder who gave it to you." Y/N picked up the letter

"There was no name. It just said, 'use it well'." Harry looked at the letter

Y/N looked up at Harry.
