Chapter 54

Voldemort looked over at Y/N. Peter gave Voldemort his wand and then backed away in fear.

"Y/N! I've been watching you. Helping you with decisions." Voldemort lifted their chin up with his wand, "I made you into who you are. Join me."

"Never!" Y/N pushed him away, "Unlike Peter, I stay loyal to my friends and family!"

Voldemort rolled his eyes and summoned some Death Eaters.

"Welcome, my friends. Thirteen years it's been, and yet here you stand before me as thought it were only yesterday." Voldemort looked around at his servants

He almost killed most of his servants and the walked over to one of them.

"Lucius." He muttered the name

Voldemort swept the mask away and Lucius fell to his knees.

"My Lord, had I detected any sign, a whisper of your whereabouts-"

"There were signs, my slippery friend. And more than whispers." Voldemort old him

Harry tried to escape but failed. Voldemort gave Peter a new hand then walked over to Harry. He explained how he lost against Harry 13years ago. By Lily. As soon as he uttered her name, Y/N saw red.

"Don't you dare speak of her! Or James! Or any of them!" Y/N pointed their wand at him

"Crucio." Voldemort them back

Y/N backed down. He shot another spell at Y/N's shoulder. Lightning struck them right where their scar was. They cried out in pain caused Y/N to fall to the floor and loose consciousness.

They were woken up by a bright light. Ghosts surround Harry and Y/N. Lily, James, Cedric, and a few more.

"Harry, Y/N, take my body back, will you?" Cedric asked the both of them, "Take my body back to my father."

James' ghost crouched down next to Y/N.

"Stay strong, for Harry. I'm trusting you. Remember, I'm always watching. In here." He touched where their heart would be, "Always remember that. Keep going. Complete the mission you've been set out to do."

He smiled at his sibling and Y/N tried to smile back before he stood up to help his son. Harry let the spell go and the two ran to Cedric's body.

"Accio!" Y/N called the Portkey over to them

They teleported back with Cedric's body. His body fell to the grass, Harry fell down next to him. Y/N stayed standing, in shock. Tears started to fall from their eyes as they looked down at Cedric's lifeless body.

People started to cheer before seeing what was happening. Some looked over and screamed.

"Harry! Harry!" Dumbledore ran over

Dumbledore tried to pull Harry away but Harry didn't let him.

"He's back! He's back!" Y/N cried

"Voldemort's back!" Harry added, "Cedric, he asked us to bring his body back. I couldn't leave him, not there."

"It's all right, Harry. It's all right." Dumbledore reassured him

Y/N was still in shock from it that they jumped when Moody walked over. Amos ran past and pushed everyone aside, Arthur was behind him. Arthur walked over and hugged Y/N while Amos crouched down by his son.

"I saw them. I saw Lily and James." Y/N told Arthur

"It's ok." Arthur hugged them tighter

Y/N looked over at Cedric and his father.

"That's my son!" Amos realised, "That's my boy! It's my boy!"

Moody pulled Harry and Y/N to the side and away from everyone. Harry had to be pulled away by Moddy while Y/N walked behind them both. They still heard his cries out as they left.

The three arrived at Moody's office. Harry was still in pain from his blood being taken so he got to sit down.

"Are you all right, Potter?" Moody asked, "Does it hurt?" He indicated to the wound, "That?"

Y/N felt dizzy but didn't draw attention to themselves. They zoned out for a second.

"What was it like? What was he like?" Moody asked Harry

"Who?" Harry asked

"The Dark Lord?" Moody said as if it was obvious, "What was it like to stand in his presence?"

Y/N realised what he had said.

"I don't know." Harry shook his head, "It was like if fallen into one of my dreams, into one of my nightmares."

Moody began to shake.

"Moody, drink your potion." Y/N told him

He opened his flask and drank but there was none left. Moody ran out, trying to get another one but couldn't find any.

"Don't you have anymore?" Y/N asked

"No!"

The next thing Y/N knew, Moody was going mad.

"Imagine how he will reward me when he learns that I have, once and for all, silenced the great Harry Potter." Moody looked over at Harry

Dumbledore opened the door and shot Moody back. Mcgonagall and Snape walked into the room behind him. Snape poured a potion down his throat to make him soil his secrets.

"Are you Alastor Moody? Are you?" Dumbledore grabbed him by his collar

"No." Moody laughed

"Is he in this room? Is he in this room?!" Dumbledore asked

Moody looked over at the chest next to Harry.

"Harry, get away from there!" Dumbledore told him

Harry ran to Y/N and stood behind them. Snape opened the chest and they all looked inside.

"You all right, Alastor?" Dumbledore asked

"I'm sorry, Albus." The real Moody apologised

"That's Moody. But then who's-?" Harry turned to the Moody in the room

Y/N walked over to the Moody.

"You've been caught and your pollyjuice is about to wear off." Y/N smirked, "Barty."

The potion wore off and Barty Crouch Jr was now sitting in the chair. He lunged at Harry but Y/N kept Barty away while Dumbledore pulled Harry back.

"I'll show you mine, if you show them yours." Barty looked at Y/N

Barty lifted his sleeve to show the dark mark.

"Y/N?" Harry stood back

Y/N looked around before lifting their sleeve up. Harry expected a dark mark but was greeted with a 'blood traitor' scar.
