Chapter 15

Y/N and Sirius arrived at Dumbledore's office. Professor McGonagall was there as well.

"Mr Black, Miss Potter." McGonagall spoke, "Why have you barged into the office?"

"I wouldn't be here if it wasn't urgent, Minnie." Sirius said

"What is it Mr Black?" Dumbledore asked

Sirius looked at Y/N with concern.

"Miss Potter?" Dumbledore looked at Y/N with confusion

"They spoke to a snake." Sirius explained

Dumbledore and McGonagall's eyes widened.

"Parceltongue." McGonagall murmured, "Could it be Albus?"

"It couldn't. They're a Gryffindor." He denied it

"Dumbledore." Y/N spoke, "What is the chamber of secrets? Who is Tom?"

"Something and someone that shouldn't be known by a student like you." Dumbledore turned around, "Go to your common room Miss Potter and Mr Black."

Y/N left the room with Sirius behind them. The two walked to their common room and sat down on the sofa.

"So. Parceltongue." Y/N laid back

"Say something in Parceltongue!" Sirius was practically jumping like the dog he was

In Parceltongue:

"You're a bitch." Y/N smirked

"What did you say?" He asked

"I said you're an amazing human being." Y/N smiled

James, Remus and Peter walked into the room.

"I wish I had more time to beat up Severus." Y/N wined

"There's a full moon tomorrow night." Remus sat down next to Sirius

"I need to set a prank up for Snivellius." Sirius stood up and walked out of the room

"I need to meet with a friend in the library." Y/N lied

Y/N left the common room and walked to the room of requirements. They entered the room and saw Regulus in there. He stood in the middle of the room facing away from Y/N.

"Hey Reggie." Y/N hugged him from behind

"Hey N/N." He turned to face them

Regulus kissed them on the forehead and hugged them.

"I missed this." Regulus smiled

"Same." Y/N sighed

The two spent some time in the room of requirements.

"Do you wanna go to the Astronomy Tower?" Regulus asked

"I'd love to." Y/N smiled

They walked out of the room and to the Astronomy Tower. For some reason, James and Lily were up there.

"Oh hey N/N!" Lily waved

"Regulus." James spoke coldly

"James." Regulus copied the tone

"Can we have one night when you two don't hate each other?" Lily groaned

"Hate each other?!" They both practically yelled, "We just have... issues."

Lily and James sat down on one side while Y/N and Regulus sat down opposite the two. The boys ended up talking about Quidditch.

"Quidditch is boring." Y/N wined

"How dare you!" The two boys yelled

Y/N and Lily burst our laughing while the boys acted offended. More random things popped up in the conversation. Y/N rested their head on Regulus' shoulder and fell asleep.

Meanwhile:

The book sat on a lectern of the library's restricted section. It let out a purple aura. The book had a black case, no writing on the inside and it was wide open on a random page.

Meanwhile:

Dumbledore paced around his office. McGonagall sat down in a nearby chair.

"He most likely left horcruxes. It's the only possible reason." Dumbledore stopped pacing

"If what you say is true, Y/N Potter is in grave danger." McGonagall stood up, "I will inform the other teachers."

She walked out the room and left Dumbledore with the pass headmaster pictures and his own thoughts. He began pacing again, trying to think of what to do.

Meanwhile:

Y/N's body felt numb for some unknown reason. They opened their eyes to find them self in their dorm room with Lily, Mary and Marlene. Lily was already awake and getting dressed.

"Morning." Mary woke up

"I'm gonna go to the library seeing as I have a free period before Potions." Y/N got out of bed.

Y/N got changed and walked to the library. Throughout the whole time, they had a strange feeling. Something was pulling them to the restricted section. But what was it? They snuck into the section and found a strange book on a lectern. Y/N picked up the book.

"Theres nothing in here." Y/N flicked through the pages

A shadow appeared behind Y/N. It watched as Y/N flicked through the pages for something. The shadow looked closer to Y/N and then sunk into their body before they noticed. Y/N's facial expression went blank. They put the book into their cloak and walked out of the library.

In Y/N's mind:

A man crouched down to Y/N's weakened form. He lifted their chin up to look at him.

"You really are weak. So this is the next heir of Slytherin. A Gryffindor. Good thing they have me to fix it." He smirked

"Who are you?" Y/N asked

"Tom."

"The snake from before!" Y/N realised

"Yes. Or, Tom Riddle." He smirked, "Although you might know me as Voldemort."

Y/N's eyes widened in shock. They stumbled up and pulled out their wand. Y/N's body arrived at Dumbledore's office. The two watched the scene in front of them

"Dumbledore," 'Y/N' sighed, "You could never teach me anything. You can't teach this generation either."

"Hello, Tom." Dumbledore turned to him

"You can't hurt me. If you try to you'll hurt precious Y/N here." 'Y/N' spread their arms out

Meanwhile, the real Y/N stood with Tom inside Y/N's mind.

"Stupify!" Y/N shot a spell at Tom

It didn't affect him. However, Y/N's body was affected. Their body buckled over in pain. They held the wall for support. Dumbledore pointed his wand at Y/N's body.

"Homenum Revelio." He spoke

Tom's soul seemed to split from Y/N's. He vanished before Dumbledore could catch him. Y/N gained control of their body again.

"Professor Dumbledore?" Y/N choked

"You should get to potions class Miss Potter." Dumbledore turned his back to them

They left his office.
