Chapter 36

Harry flew into the clouds, trying to catch the snitch. Y/N watched as a dementor flew over to him and knocked him off his broom.

"Harry!" Y/N yelled

Dumbledore casted a spell on him to soften the floor but Y/N had already flown over to Harry and grabbed him by the collar. They pulled him onto their broom and watched as his flew into the whomping willow. Y/N flew to the grass, as well as all the other Qudditch members. Dumbledore ran over and pushed Y/N away from Harry.

"Hey!" Y/N gained their balance, with the help of George, "A thank you would be nice!"

"We need to get him to the hospital wing!" Dumbledore called out to Mcgonagall

A day or so later, Y/N was sitting next to Harry. He was still unconscious and sleeping. Everyone else was crowded around as well. Harry finally woke up and sat up.

"How are you feeling?" Hermione asked him

"Oh, brilliant." Harry said sarcastically

"You gave us a right good scare, mate." George tapped him on his shoulder and sat down next to Y/N

"What happened?" Harry asked

"Well, you fell off your broom." Ron said

"Really? I meant the match. Who won?" Harry asked him

Y/N got up and left the room with Fred and George.

Regulus walked into the Slytherin common room and sat down next to Draco. He was sitting on the sofa with Crabbe, Goyle, Blaze and Pansy.

"Regulus. How are you?" Draco asked

"Good. What are you all talking about?" Regulus asked

"I'm thinking of making a move on that Weasley person." Draco sat up straight

"What? Y/N?" Regulus raised an eyebrow

Draco nodded.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Regulus shook his head

"Trust me. I'll do it now, come with me." Draco stood up

Regulus followed Draco out of the common room and over to the Quidditch pitch. Y/N was practicing with George and Fred.

"Hey, Weasley!" Draco called out

"What do you want, Malfoy?" Y/N flew down with the twins behind them

They looked over at Regulus.

"Hey, Reggie." Y/N smiled at him

"Hey, N/N." Regulus smiled back, "Sort Draco out, please."

"What do you want, Malfoy?" Y/N turned back to Draco

"Go out with me." He smirked

"No."

Draco stared at Y/N in shock.

"What?! Why?!" He spluttered

"I'm already dating someone." Y/N shrugged, "And I'd never betray them for a daddy issues boy like you."

"My father will hear about this!" Draco yelled

Regulus, George and Fred held back their laughs.

"Oh, Reg." Y/N nudged him, "Half an hour."

"Ok." Regulus said, "Are we just planning or is it actually happening?"

"What?" Draco asked

"After Christmas, I think." Y/N ignored Draco, "That's what Moony said."

"Let's just go, Regulus." Draco pulled Regulus away

Draco and Regulus left the Quidditch pitch.

"Wait." Fred realised, "You have a boyfriend?!"

"You're too young!" George cried

"I'm older than both of you, remember?" Y/N laughed

"You're like a younger sibling to us though!" Fred wined

"Wait." George stopped him, "New topic! Regulus Lupin. What's with him?"

"Regulus. Oh!" Y/N sat on their floating broom, "He's nice, why do you ask?"

"Uh, Huh." Fred nodded, "How nice? Do you want to snog him?"

Fred and George continued asking Y/N questions. Regulus walked over and tapped Y/N's shoulder.

"You ready?" Regulus asked

"What do you think of Y/N, Regulus?" George asked

"They're nice." Regulus shrugged

"Does he know what you're doing?" Fred asked

Y/N nodded.

"Do they know about you?" Regulus asked them, "About the truth."

They nodded again.

"Let me introduce myself again." Regulus leant out a hand, "Regulus Arcturus Black III. Y/N's boyfriend."

"So this is the boyfriend." George shook his hand, "I'll allow it."

"It's time, Y/N. Let's go." Regulus started to walk away

Y/N caught up with Regulus and the two headed to the whomping willow. They walked into the Shrieking shack and over to Remus and Sirius.

"What's the plan?" Y/N asked

"We lure Peter into the shack and confront him there." Remus said, "The problem is, we don't know how we'll do that."

"Well that's stupid." Regulus crossed his arms

"I don't see you coming up with a better plan." Sirius snarled

"You haven't contributed at all!" Regulus shot back

"At least I have things to do!" Sirius yelled

"Like what?" Regulus asked

He stayed silent.

"Exactly."

"For Merlin's sake! Can we just focus on the task at hand, please!" Y/N hit the table with their fist, "Once this is done, we are one step closer to defeating Voldemort and one step closer to going home!"

Everyone went silent.

"Let's just get this over and done with. Can we " Y/N mumbled

Remus started to talk more about the plan and everyone listened, for once. Y/N stayed silent except for when it was absolutely necessary for them to talk.

They soon got through dinner. Regulus asked Y/N to meet up with him at the entrance to the great hall. The two waited until everyone had left.

"What do you need?" Y/N asked him

"Do you remember the first problem we faced?" Regulus's began to walk down the corridor

"Remus attacked me. I remember like it was yesterday. You wanted to get me to the hospital wing but Sirius didn't trust you." Y/N followed him

"This is the corridor we walked down at that time. So much has changed since then." He smiled

"That's true." Y/N smiled up at him, "We've changed."

McGonagall walked around the corner.

"What are you two doing up? You're not prefects anymore." She told them both

"Just one stroll, Minnie. Please!" Y/N begged

"I'm sorry, Y/N. Go back to your common rooms." McGonagall shook her head

Y/N mumbled a complaint and walked off.

"You too, Regulus." McGonagall looked at him

"I'm going, I'm going." Regulus walked off
