Chapter 55

"Send an owl to Azkaban. I think they'll find they're missing one of their prisoners." Dumbledore said

"I'll be welcomed back like a hero!" Barty yelled

"You're no hero." Y/N shook their head

"Neither are you." Barty laughed, "Nor are you a friend. Friends wouldn't do this."

Y/N stood back. His words hurt more than anyone else's. To top it off, they'd just seen their old friend and he was about to be sent back to Azkaban. Dumbledore took Y/N and Harry out of the room.

A few days past and it was, eventually, time to go home for the summer. Y/N packed their things, shrunk them and put them in their pocket before heading to the great hall. Dumbledore gave a speech before everyone left. It was about Cedric's death. Once the speech was over, Y/N walked over to Regulus.

"Where are you staying for this summer?" Y/N asked him

"I'll join you." Regulus smiled, "I don't think I can spend another summer with my cousin, her husband and their son."

"Let's go then." Y/N kissed him

The two left and got onto the train to go home. Harry, Ron and Hermione joined them in a cart.

"Mum and Dad told me we're visiting you, Y/N. Is that true?" Ron asked

"Yes. You can all visit." Y/N smiled

"Ok then. It's settled. We'll try and visit you." Hermione said

There was a bit more small talk.

"Remus sent me a letter the other day." Hermione started, "He said The Order Of The Phoenix's starting again and we might be able to help out."

"Sirius sent the same thing to me." Y/N told them all, "Reg, he said we could join."

The train ride was long but fun. Y/N and Regulus walked to 12 Gimmauld Place and stood in front of the door.

"You ready?" Y/N asked him

"No." He chuckled

They took his hand and opened the door, the two entered the building.

"Sirius! Remus! Tonks! I've brought a guest!" Y/N called out

Sirius walked into the room to see his brother standing there.

"Regulus." Sirius hissed

"Sirius." Regulus hissed

"Can you two get along?" Y/N pollyjuice potion wore off

Remus walked into the room.

"Moony!" Y/N hugged him

"Hey Y/N." Remus hugged them back

Tonks walked into the room with someone behind her.

"How was school, kiddo." Tonks joked

"Haha." Y/N laughed sarcastically, "I'm not a kid."

"I'm Kingsley. Kingsley Shacklebolt." The guy shook their hand

"I'm Y/N. Y/N Potter." Y/N smiled, "It's nice to meet you."

Y/N looked out the window to see the sun slowly setting.

"I'll get started on dinner." Y/N walked into the kitchen

Tonks followed them. The two made some pasta for everyone and brought it to the table. Everyone sat down and began to eat in silence.

"Do you remember Barty?" Y/N broke the silence

"Obviously." Sirius rolled his eyes, "He was your best friend, Regulus."

"He escaped from Azkaban about a year ago and was then put back in a few days ago." Regulus explained, "He pretended to be Mad-Eye Moody at Hogwarts for a year."

"At least he's back in Azkaban." Kingsley said, "Where he belongs."

Regulus clenched his fists in anger. Y/N put their hand on his to calm him down. The dinner continued with random small talk. Y/N got up and left the room quickly. They walked upstairs and stopped at the stairs. There was a covered up picture that was talking.

"Filthy blood traitor." The picture said, "Dating my heir."

Y/N ripped off the fabric that was covering it to reveal Wallburga Black's picture. She stood elegantly, towering over Y/N as she looked down.

"Wallburga." Y/N hissed

"Potter." Wallburga spat

Kreature walked over to them.

"Mistress." Kreature bowed at the picture

"Get these traitors out of my house." Wallburga told Kreature

"Sorry, mistress." Kreature began to cover the picture up again, "I can not do that. Miss Y/N's orders."

Y/N smiled down at Kreature before walking upstairs to their's and Regulus' room. They pulled out the time turner and spun it anti-clockwise so they went into the future.

"Please work." They whispered

When they opened their eyes, they were in a strange room. The Order, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Regulus and a few more were standing in the room as well.

"Remus?" Y/N turned to him

He was tearing up, as well as Regulus.

"What happened?" Y/N looked around at everyone

"Oh, Y/N." Hermione shook her head

"Vix." Remus held back his tears, "Sirius- He's- He's dead."

Y/N's eyes widened. Tears began to flood out of their eyes like a tsunami.

"No." Y/N shook their head, "No! No! No! No! No!"

"I'm sorry." Moody said

"Moony." Y/N stuttered, reaching out for the first person they thought of

"I'm here." Remus hugged them, "It's ok. Shh. You'll get through this. You have many many times before. You got over Mary, Marlene, Pandora, Barty, Evan, Lily, James, Euphemia, Fleamont, all of them."

"Wait. Pandora?" Luna spoke up

"Yes. Pandora Lovegood. Or, Pandora Lestrange." Y/N cleared the slight confusion

Y/N looked over at the middle of the room. There was an arch with souls flying around in the middle, shouting.

"How did he die?" Y/N asked

"Bellatrix killed him and he got sucked into the arch." Remus explained

A hit of realisation struck Y/N.

"I can change it." Y/N whispered to Remus, "I can change it."

"Go back. If you can change it, then change it." Remus whispered back, "Do whatever you can to change it."

"It could risk everything." Y/N said, "But it could work. It could get him back, get all of them back, and kill Voldemort."

"Whatever you're thinking of, make it work!" Hermione told them, "If it helps us beat Voldemort, make it work."

They nodded. Y/N took the time turner out and wizzed back to their own time.
