Chapter 57

The two walked through the halls of the manor.

"When Mistress Lily was supposed to die, she was actually pregnant. She gave birth to a beautiful little girl called Sophia Lily Potter. Sophia is currently 13." Al explained

"Why isn't she in Hogwarts?" Y/N asked

"The whole family is in hiding. Master James and Mistress Lily have been teaching her themselves." Al told them

Al opened a door to reveal a small kids room. A little girl sat at a desk. She looked like Lily with James' eyes.

"Sophia. Come meet your aunt." Al called for the child

Y/N watched as the kid stood up and walked over.

"You're Y/N. Aren't you." She pointed up at Y/N

"Yes. Yes, I am. Could you tell me where your parents are, dearie?" Y/N smiled at the kid, "I would like to talk to them."

"Mum has gone out to get food, and dad is busy with I don't know what." Sophia said

"Could you keep an eye on her. It makes the maids lives so much easier." Al spoke

Y/N nodded. Al walked out the room while Y/N sat down with Sophia. The two started to talk about different things until Sophia picked up a book.

"Mum gave me this book about when she was in Hogwarts." Sophia opened the book

Sophia pointed out a picture. It was Lily, Y/N, Mary, Marlene, Dorcas, Pandora and Molly. The girls had just been to a common room party and were slightly drunk.

"Is this you?" Sophia pointed to Y/N in the picture, "You look a similar age."

"I'm from the past." Y/N revealed, "I'm trying to get you a better life." They tapped her nose when they said 'you'

"And this is mum." Sophia pointed to Lily in the picture, "She looks pretty."

Y/N pointed out all the girls and said the names. Sophia then pulled out one with multiple boys in it. The picture had James, Sirius, Remus, Peter, Frank, Barty, Evan and Regulus.

"That's your father." Y/N pointed to James in the picture

They looked over at Peter in the picture.

"Can I write on here?" Y/N asked

Sophia nodded. Y/N pulled out a pen, crossed out Peter's face on it and drew devil horns on him.

"What was that for?" Sophia asked, sadness in her voice,

"He's mean. He's not who you think he is." Y/N put the pen away, "I'm sorry, but he tried to kill us."

There was a knock at the door. Sophia jumped up and ran to the door to open it.

"Mum!" Sophia cheered

"Hey Soph." Lily smiled at her daughter

"Hey, Lily." Y/N smiled

"Y/N?" Lily walked into the room, "It's been years."

"It has." Y/N stood up, "I came to visit."

"I'm back." James walked into the room, "Y/N?"

"James." Y/N looked over at him

James walked over to Y/N and hugged them tightly.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?" Y/N chuckled

"You should stay for dinner." Lily said

"I'd love to." Y/N pulled away from the hug

Lily walked out the room to help set dinner up.

"Do you want anything?" James asked

"I think I'm ok." Y/N said

A maid walked into the room. Y/N recognised her immediately. It was Claudia.

"Mistress Lily would like for all of you to join her in the dining room." Claudia bowed

The four of them left the room and walked into the dining room. Once they all sat down, dinner started. Soon, an owl arrived for Y/N.

"Who's it from?" Lily asked

"It's from Sirius." Y/N smiled

"Sirius." James smiled at the memories, "How is he? It's sad he got put in Azkaban for our 'deaths'."

"He misses you. Mostly misses James though." Y/N chuckled

Lily smiled and rolled her eyes.

"Who's Sirius?" Sophia asked

"He's our old friend. You might be able to meet him soon." Y/N saddened at the fact

If Sirius was to visit, he would of had to have his death faked. Sirius is also very hard to convince to do things so Y/N will have to have a long conversation about it with him.

"I ought to be heading out." Y/N stood up, "Either me or someone else will visit you in about a year."

"Stay!" Sophia pleaded

"I'll come back around Christmas." Y/N negotiated

"Fine." Sophia huffed and crossed her arms

Al led Y/N out the building and Y/N teleported away. They opened their eyes to see they were in 12 Grimmauld Place once again. The remaining order was in the room with them. Y/N felt themselves smiling.

"Harry should be arriving tomorrow. I want you to help him through the next through years. The ministry said they will be trying to keep an eye on the school." Sirius told them

"By 'keep an eye on' you mean take over?" Y/N crossed their arms

"Most likely." Remus sighed

Fred and George teleported into the room.

"Oh. Wrong room." Fred chuckled

"Just because you're here, doesn't mean you can do magic all the time." Molly sent them out the room

Y/N looked back at everyone around the table.

"So, I have to babysit Harry?" Y/N clarified

"That would be helpful." Remus nodded, "We need to keep an eye on him for the next few years, now that You-Know-Who is out and about."

"He's not a child!" Y/N raised their voice, "He disintegrated a man in first year! He killed a Basalisk in second year! He found out about Sirius in third year! He was forced to help bring Voldemort back! I don't think he needs a babysitter!"

"Y/N! You don't need to raise your voice." Moody said

"Shut up, Moody!" Y/N yelled, "This isn't about you!"

They took a deep breath in.

"I'm not going to babysit him. Just because he's my nephew, it doesn't mean I should babysit him." Y/N sighed
