Chapter 37

Harry and Y/N stood in the school, watching everyone leave for Hogsmeade. They saw George and Fred making a snow man.

"I'm going to go see Fred and George, wanna come?" Y/N began to walk away

"In a bit." He smiled at them

Y/N walked outside to the twins.

"Where's the map?" Y/N asked

"What do you mean?" Fred stopped making the snowman

"My map." Y/N put their hand out

"It's not yours technically." George shrugged

They rolled their eyes. Some footprints were made in the snow behind the three, it was Harry.

"Get him." Y/N whispered to the boys

Fred and George grabbed Harry and pulled him away. Harry began to struggle to escape.

"Calm down Harry." Y/N rolled their eyes and followed

Y/N pulled the invisibility cloak off Harry.

"What are you doing?" Harry hissed

"Shh!" Fred stopped him

George handed Harry a piece of parchment paper.

"What's this rubbish?" Harry took the paper

"How dare you!" Y/N raised their voice but George stopped them

" 'What's this rubbish' he says." Fred laughs, "That there, is the secret to our success."

"It's a wrench giving it to you, believe me." George said

"But, we've decided your needs are greater than ours." Fred shrugged, "Y/N, if you will."

Y/N pulled out their wand.

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." Y/N tapped the parchment with their wand

A map started to form on the paper.

"Messrs. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, Prongs and Vix are proud to present the Marauders Map." Harry read out

"We owe them so much." George smiled

Harry opened the map to see Hogwarts.

"Hang on." Harry looked up, "This is Hogwarts. And that- no. Is that really-"

"Dumbledore."

"In his study."

"Pacing."

He found this all hard to believe.

"Wrap it up." Y/N clapped their hands, "The map shows everyone at every moment of every day."

Fred and George showed Harry how to get into Hogsmeade easily.

"To close it up, Y/N." George allowed them

""Give it a tap and say: mischief managed." Y/N tapped the map with their wand

"Otherwise anyone can read it." The twins walked off

Y/N and Harry walked through the passage. They popped out and snuck around. Harry spotted Draco, Crabbe, another and Regulus standing in front of Hermione and Ron.

"How dare you talk to me." Draco hissed at Hermione, "You filthy little Mudblood!"

Y/N had enough. They ran out and shot Draco with a spell. He was sent flying backwards.

"Fuck You, Draco!" Y/N shot another

"Regulus! Get them to stop!" Draco cried

Regulus took Y/N wand out their hand.

"Give me my wand, Regulus." Y/N leant their hand out

He shook his head. A black dog ran over to them and snatched the wand off Regulus before handing it to Y/N.

"Thanks." Y/N smiled

Y/N pointed their wand at Draco once more. Harry walked over, with the invisibility cloak, and began to mess with the Slytherins. The Slytherins, minus Regulus, ended up running away.

"What are you still doing here?" Harry pulled of the cloak

"That was quite funny." Regulas chuckled

"Can Reggie stay with us, please?" Y/N begged Harry

He caved in, "Fine."

The five of them began to walk through Hogsmeade. Harry told Hermione and Ron about the Map.

"Those weasels! Never told me about and Marauder's Map!" Ron complained

Y/N noticed people walking into a pup. They took out a pollyjuice potion.

"What are you doing, Y/N?" Hermione asked

"Regulus. Will you join me?" Y/N asked

Regulus took out a pollyjuice potion as well. The two drank it and turned into their original selves. Some people around them whispered.

"That's Y/N Potter and Regulus Black."

"Some say they've been reincarnated into Y/N Weasley and Regulus Lupin."

Y/N and Regulus walked over to Mcgonagall.

"What are you two doing here?" Mcgonagall hissed

"We need to know what's going on." Y/N whispered

"Fine." Mcgonagall sighed, "Follow me."

Mcgonagall led them inside and up some stairs. Rosmerta was complaining about how the dementors kept coming into her pub.

"Nobody will come to a pub where they'll get scared out of their wits." Rosmerta complained

"Professor Dumbledore doesn't want dementors around the place." Mcgonagall backed her up

"How do we know Sirius is even here. It's not like he is an animagus because then it would be registered, correct?" Y/N took a sip of their drink

"Correct. Someone is helping him." Fudge said

Y/N rolled their eyes. The door slightly opened so Rosmerta closed it.

"Now, tell me what all this is about." Rosmerta walked back over to the adults

"Well. Years ago, when Harry Potter's parents realised they were marked for death. Remember? They went into hiding. Few knew where they were." Mcgonagall started, "One who did was Sirius Black. And he told You-Know-Who."

"I don't believe that." Y/N shook their head

Y/N put their drink down.

"Y/N. You just don't want to believe that Sirius is a traitor." Fudge shook his head, "He may have been your friend but he isn't anymore."

"You know nothing." Y/N Y/N clenched their fists, "Absolutely nothing!"

"Let's go, Y/N." Regulus placed a hand on Y/N's shoulder

They shook his hand off.

"He's not a traitor. He's loyal. He's a good friend. And, he's Harry's Godfather! He never killed them!" Y/N yelled

"Fine then. But he did kill Peter Pettigrew." Fudge sighed

Y/N's eyes widened.

"Don't you dare say his name!" Pointed their wand at the minister

Fudge raised his ands in defeat.

"Y/N!" Regulus raised his voice, "Let's go!"

Regulus pulled Y/N out the room. Y/N noticed footprints in the snow forming.

"Harry." Y/N muttered

They cursed under their breath and ran after him. Regulus got Hermione and Ron before chasing after them.
