Chapter 39

"That's a bad wound." Pomfrey examined the wound, "We should get that fixed up."

It spread across their back with a lightning and thunder scar.

Or

"It looks worse than Harry's." Regulus winced when he saw it, "But more Badass."

"It'll take a while to heal but if done correctly it can heal well." Pomfrey grabbed some bandages

Y/N sat still as Pomfrey shot a healing spell at it and then bandaged it up.

"You should get some rest. If too much pressure is applied to your body, it could get worse." Pomfrey explained

"Ok, Poppy." Y/N smiled at the nurse

Pomfrey went back to what she was doing prior while Y/N laid back down.

"How are you feeling?" Regulus sat down on the stool next to the bed

"Ok, I guess. What will I tell the others without them being so concerned?" Y/N asked

"Just, don't tell them." Regulus shrugged

After a few days, Y/N left the hospital wing and went back to the common room. The thing was, it was a full moon.

"What time is it?" Y/N popped into the boy's room

Neville, Seamus, Ron and Harry were sitting down and making jokes.

"Ask Hermione." Ron rolled his eyes

"She's busy with the girls." Y/N wined

"We're busy as well!" Ron copied their tone

"It's sunset." Neville said

Y/N thanked him and left the room. They ran to the  Shrieking Shack. Remus, Sirius and Regulus were already there. 

"Remus, upstairs. Sirius, take Regulus somewhere safe." Y/N told them all

"Why do I have to make sure he's safe?" Sirius complained

"If he dies, or is injured, then I'll kill you." Y/N warned him

Sirius rolled his eyes and led Regulus to another room. Y/N and Remus walked upstairs and Sirius joined them a while later.

"You ready?" Y/N asked

Remus nodded. Sirius and Y/N transformed into their animagi forms while Remus transformed into a werewolf. The screams of pain hurt Y/N more than when the three of them were in school years ago.

They were able to keep Remus busy until they heard a noise from downstairs. His ears perked up and he ran out the door. Y/N and Sirius chased after him.

"Lupin?" Regulus stumbled back

Regulus had been backed into a wall with Remus nearing closer. He was about to bite Regulus. Y/N ran forward and transformed back in front of Regulus. Instead, Remus bit Y/N's wrist. They fell to the floor in pain. Remus was about to attack Regulus, when Sirius jumped in the way. He led Remus to a room and locked the door before transforming back.

"Y/N!" Sirius ran back over

"Silver and dittany." Was all Y/N said, "Quickly!"

Sirius ran out the room and came back with silver and dittany in his hands.

"Help me, Regulus!" Sirius knelt down by Y/N, who was now sitting on the floor,

Regulus knelt down and helped apply the items to the bite.

"What's going to happen to them?" Regulus asked

"Remus bit them when they were protecting you. Now that we've added the silver and dittany, they'll survive. But..." Sirius trailed off

"But what?" Regulus asked, "What's going to happen to them, Sirius?"

"There going to become a werewolf." Sirius sighed, "They'll be a werewolf and an animagus."

"What?!" Regulus stood up

"Quiet! Remus might hear you!" Sirius hissed

Regulus calmed down.

"Get Pomfrey and stay out of sight." Sirius ordered his younger brother

He ran out the building. Sirius transformed back into his animagi form and Regulau came back with Madam Pomfrey behind him. She ran to Y/N and picked them up bridal style.

"Who's this?" Pomfrey indicated to the dog

"Y/N found him. The two have grown close recently." Regulus half lied

Pomfrey walked back with Y/N in her arms and Regulus following with Sirius, in animagi form, behind him. She placed Y/N on a hospital bed and turned to Regulus.

"I put silver and dittany on the bite so they survived." Regulus said

"The sun is rising. I should go help Remus. Stay with Y/N." Pomfrey walked out the door

Regulus sat down by Y/N and Sirius sat on the end of the bed, while still in animagi form.

"I'm gonna be a werewolf." Y/N chuckled lightly, "Like Remus."

All the students started to wake up to see Dumbledore, Mcgonagall, Snape, Trelawnry, Filtch and Flitwick running to the hospital wing. Hermione, Ron and Harry followed to see what was happening.

Y/N and Temus laid on beds that were close together. While Regulus had stayed by Y/N's side, Sirius stayed with Remus.

"What happened?!" Dumbledore ran into the hospital wing, followed by other teachers

"Y/N was there during my transformation and I accidentally... bit them." Remus trailed off

"Y/N is turning into a werewolf." Pomfrey explained

Hermione, Ron and Harry turned up at the door but no one noticed.

"Remus. Can you help Y/N with this...situation?" Mcgonagall asked him

"Yes. Of course, Minerva." Remus nodded

"Y/N? Professor Lupin?" Hermione spoke up, "Is everything ok?"

"We'll leave you to this." Mcgonagall sent all the professors out the room

The three students walked over to Y/N and Remus.

"It's nothing to worry about, Miss Granger." Remus reassured her

"But, Y/N has a bite mark on their wrist." Ron pointed out

"I ran into the woods late at night because I saw something and I got attacked." Y/N lied

"I should give you a detention, but, you've gotten yourself in a big enough punishment." Remus backed up their lie

Regulus brought the trio away and began to speak with them.

"So, do I need wolfsbane potion?" Y/N asked Remus

"Yes. No sugar, because then it doesn't work." Remus reminded them, "And you need to take a goblet full of it every day for a week prior to the full moon."
