Chapter 18

Y/N put on the almost fully fixed time turner around their neck. They turned it to the correct time and was whipped away. Severus was there. They were both in the forbidden forest. The scene from a few days ago was playing. Y/N walked over to Severus. He jumped when they placed their hand on his shoulder.

"Aren't you over there?" He pointed to the scene next to them

"No time to explain! Leave! Go into Hogwarts. Don't tell a soul." Y/N ordered

Severus ran to the castle. Remus turned back into his human self. Someone pulled Y/N into the bushes as past Y/N started to walk over. They covered Y/N's mouth until past Y/N walked away.

It looked like, Remus? But older and with more scars. He looked like he had just been in a... war...

"M-Moony?" Y/N stuttered

"Hey Vix." He smiled weakly

"What happened to you?" They asked

"We'll talk later." He looked around at their surroundings, "I'll be in the shrieking shack to hide. Don't do anything stupid."

Remus stood up and left. Y/N stood up and held the time turner. They turned it to the correct time and was brought back to their dorm room. Sirius, Mary and Marlene stood around them.

"Oh, Fuck." Y/N sat down

"What happened?" Sirius asked

"I need to go." Y/N left the room

Y/N ran out of the school, pushing past everyone in their way. They arrived inside the Shrieking Shack.

"You're here." Remus walked into the room

"What happened?" Y/N asked, "And why do you look like you've been in a war?"

"Let's sit down." He walked over to a sofa

The two sat down next to each other.

"What main part do you wanna know?" He asked

"Why are you here?"

"I came to give you this." Remus handed them a potion

They shifted the potion in their hand. A pollyjuice potion.

"Bring McGonagall over here in a few days." Remus ordered, "Ove been sent to do something, it needs to be completed."

Y/N looked up at him before leaving. They walked to their dorm room, hid the potion and went to sleep.

Y/N was shook awake in the middle of the night. It was James.

"What do you want Prongs?" Y/N groaned

"Can you help with spells?" He asked

"Why? Ask Moony, Wormtail or Padfoot to do it." They pushed him away

"All of them are sleeping." He hissed, "And you're better at spells then they are."

They glared at him before sighing and sitting up.

"Let me get changed." Y/N stood up

James stood outside while Y/N got into their Hogwarts uniform, just like James had already done. The two then headed to the room of requirements. Y/N stood at one end and James stood at another end.

"Legilimens." Y/N shot a spell

They looked through James' memories and was shocked with what they found.

"When was that?" Y/N got out of Jame's mind

"Just before you two started again dating." He revealed

Y/N's eyes widened.

"Expelliarmus!" They shot another spell

James dropped his wand and stumbled back.

"I'm sorry!" He apologised

"Levicorpus!" They continued

He was hung in the air by his ankles. Y/N started to shoot non-verbal spells at him. The door swung open. It was Remus and Peter.

"What are you doing Vix?" Peter asked

"Fuck you James!" Y/N ignored the two

James was thrown to the back wall. Peter ran to help him.  Tears ran down Y/N's face.

"Calm down Vix." Remus spoke

"What would Lily think?" Y/N yelled, "What would Sirius think? Did you have any idea how that would affect people?!"

Everyone went silent.

"I Fucking hate you." Y/N walked out.

Y/N walked through the halls aimlessly until bumping into someone. Regulus.

"Regulus? What are you doing up?" Y/N wiped their tears

"What happened N/N? Why are you crying?" He cupped their face

They pushed his hands away.

"How about you go see James." Y/N spoke

"You know? Y/N, that was nothing!" He denied it, "He meant nothing! You mean everything!"

"I need time." They walked off

He stood in silence. Y/N walked to their dorm room. They got into something more comfortable and went to sleep. Sirius woke up and looked up at Y/N.

"What happened? Where did you go?" Sirius asked

"You know how you didn't like me dating Regulus at first?"

He nodded.

"How do you feel about him making out with James?" Y/N asked

Tears continued to fill Y/N's eyes while Sirius had a shocked look on his face.

"When did it start?" He managed to say

"When we stopped dating over Christmas." Y/N whipped their tears, "Let's just sleep."

Y/N rolled over in their bed and went to sleep. Sirius stood up and walked out of the common room. He found the others walked back.

"Peter. Remus. James." Sirius crossed his arms

"Hey Sirius." James chuckled nervously

"You've been making out with my brother and all you say is 'hey Sirius'?" He shrieked, "What is wrong with you?!"

Sirius walked up to James and punched him square in the nose. James stumbled back in pain, he was helped by Peter and Remus to gain his balance.

"You're a brothershagger." And with that, Sirius walked back into the girls dorm and went to sleep

Meanwhile:

Remus (or, future Remus) sat on Y/N's window above their bed. Y/N had pulled the curtains around so no one could see him.

"When can you get Minerva? And do you still have the pollyjuice potion?" He whispered

"Tomorrow and yes. Can you explain what's going on yet?" Y/N whispered back

"Not yet." He shook his head

Y/N heard someone walking into the room.

"You need to go. Now!" Y/N hissed

Remus left through the window and Y/N went to sleep.
