Chapter 11

The sun had set over Hogwarts and I had to go back to the common room. Marlene and Mary walked with me until we got through the door. Lily and James were arguing, Peter sat on the sofa confused, Sirius said nothing but his face said everything, and Remus was pacing backwards and forwards. I tried to dodge everyone but Peter noticed me.

"Vix?" He spoke softly

Every turned to me. James and Lily stopped fighting, Sirius just stared, Peter had looked up, and Remus stopped pacing.

"Yes Peter." I took a deep breath in

He looked at me before replying, "Why were you hanging with Slytherins?"

I couldn't reply, all I did was turn on my heel and walk to the stairs.

"Running away from your problems are you now?" James asked

"James!" Lily yelled at him

"James I swear to Merlín I will Hex you!" I pointed my wand at him

"And what will you do?" He asked as I walked over to him

"I'll turn you into your animagi form in the great hall in front of everyone." I whispered in his ear

"What'd you say to him?" Remus asked

"Don't worry, deer." I smiled

The whole room went silent, the girls looked confused but the boys looked worried.

"Y/N." Lily stepped forward so she was behind me, "It's a full moon tomorrow."

"That's fine." I sighed, "I'll stay in the room of requirements."

"You don't have to go into your animagi form just because it's a full moon Y/N." Sirius said

"You don't get it." I muttered, "You don't get it!!" I pointed my wand at Sirius, "You don't have nightmares in your animagi form if you don't transform after a specific amount of time! Im going to the room of requirements."

"But what about professor Mcgonagall?" Mary asked

"She knows already." I walked out the door

I wasn't sure if there was anyone in the room of requirements but at this point, if it was someone I knew, I didn't care. Closing the door behind me, I saw that there was no one in the room so I sat down on the sofa and went into my animagi form. It seemed strange to not be with the others in this form but a part of me found it comforting. The door opened and closed but I was too tired to see who it was.

"Homenum Revelio." Someone said, "Y/N?"

I looked up to see Regulus standing in front of me.

"Reg?" I muttered, "Please go."

"What happened Y/N?" He spoke softly

I sat up slowly to see I was not in my animagi form.

"It's a full moon." I managed to get out, "The marauders go crazy on the night of the full moon." I lied

"You can't just stay in the room of requirements." He sighed, "Come to the Slytherin common room."

"A Gryffindor in the Slytherin common room?" I laughed

"Don't worry." He reassured me

We stood up and walked over to the Slytherin common room. It took a while but we made it. No one was downstairs so it was easier to get into Regulus' room. He shared a room with Barry and Evan.

"You only share with two people? Luckily!" I complained

"Y/N!" Barty smiled

"Hey Barty." I smiled weakly

"Nicest way possible. What are you doing here?" Evan asked

"I dint really want to talk about it." I mumbled, "I'll be in the bathroom. If a fox walks in don't question it."

"So I can't tell them?" Regulus asked

"You know what? Fuck the marauders rule." I decided

I then transformed into my animagi from in front of the two Slytherins. They stood there shocked before Evan ran over to me and bent on one knee with a smile on his face until realisation hit.

"Is this registered?" He asked as his smile turned into a frown

I shook my head to say no and all he did was laugh.

"A true rule breaker." He chuckled

"Get some rest Y/N." Regulus spoke in an orderly tone

I rolled my eyes but no one noticed, jumped onto the end of Regulus' bed and curled up into a ball.

"This can't get cuter." Evan was in awe

Knowing what to do, I made puppy dog eyes at him and he nearly fainted.

"You good Rosier?" Barty asked from his bed

"Fine." Evan walked over to his bed and sat down

"I'm not tired. Just wanted to see how Evan would react." I transformed back with a smirk

I felt a small dip in the bed and noticed that Regulus sat down next to me. Regulus pushed his sleeves down and seemed to be uneasy.

"Are you ok?" I whispered to him

"I'm fine." He whispered back

"Alright love birds! Enough whispering." Barty declared

I rolled my eyes while laughing. We spoke for a hour or two until I got bored.

"Do you have anything else to do?" I wined

"We practice our spells on each other. Like a duel." Evan suggested

Quickly, I stood up.

"Let's go that then." I smiled, "Who's going against who?"

"I'll go against you Y/N." Barty stood up

"Remember. Call out if you need to stop or need help. No killing each other, and no sending people to the hospital wing." Regulus went over the rules

"Ok." I readied my wand

"I'll go easy on you." Barty smirked and did the same

"Expelliarmus!" I shot a spell at him

The spell made him drop his wand but he picked it back up in time.

"Confundo!" He spoke

Suddenly, I was strangely confused but quickly snapped out of it and hit him with another spell. This won't on for another minute or so until Barty had enough.

"Your go Reg." Barty sat down and tried to catch his breath

Regulus stood up and took Barty's place.

"Aguamenti."

Water shot out of his wand as he cast the spell and I barely missed it.

"Legilimens." I cast a spell back at him

This one allowed me inside his mind and to see his memories. The last couple of days flashed by but then I saw something I didn't want to. The Death Eater mark. On Regulus' arm. I got out of his mind as fast as I could.

"Y/N?!" Evan shook me

"Wait. What?" I managed to mutter
