Chapter 50

"No." Y/N shook their head

"Do you want to go someplace quiet?" Regulus asked

Y/N nodded. Regulus led Y/N to the room of requirements. It was quiet, peaceful. He closed the door while Y/N walked into the room.

Regulus then walked over to Y/N, who had their back turned to him, and hugged them from behind. Y/N spun around and wrapped their arms around Regulus' neck.

"Are you ok?" Y/N asked

"Mhm." Regulus hummed

They placed a kiss on his lips.

A few days later, it was time for the first challenge. Y/N, Harry, Cedric, Fleur and Krum were in the tent waiting. Everyone was nervous, you could see it. Y/N had their wand and a pollyjuice potion, which was hidden just in case. Rita came into the tent and began to talk to Harry, who was talking with Hermione.

"You have no business here. This tent is for champions and friends." Krum walked over

"No matter." Rita shrugged

She then went over to Y/N and began to interrogate them.

"I don't think you can bring potions along with you." Rita pointed out

"You should leave." Y/N said with a straight face

"We got what we wanted." Rita rolled her eyes and left the tent

Dumbledore walked into the tent with other adults behind him.

"Good day, champions. Gather round, please." Dumbledore said, "Now, you've waitied, you've wondered, and at last the moment has arrived. A moment only 5of you can fully appreciate."

He caught Hermione and she quickly left. Barty (senior) pulled out a bag. Everyone stuck their head in and pulled out a dragon each. It was Y/N's go.

"A Ukrainian Iron belly." Barty told them, "Powerful. Good luck."

Barty explained the rules of what they all had to do.

Cedric went first. Krum went second. Fleur went third. Harry went fourth. Now, it was Y/N's turn.

They stepped out and saw the Ukrainian Iron belly standing above the egg. Dumbledore had, sadly, taken away their pollyjuice potion so all they had was their wand.

"Our last champion! Y/N Weasley! Or Potter..." Dumbledore muttered the last two words

"Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!" The crowd chanted

Y/N started to walk over to the dragon. It swung its tail at Y/N, who got thrown against the stone. The dragon blew a fire ball at Y/N but they used a spell to send it back.

"Go Y/N!" They heard the twins chant the loudest

Y/N's skin began to bubble and everyone stopped to stare, they were all confused. They reverted back to their original self.

"The daily profit was true!" Some kids said

Y/N ignored it, went invisible with a non-verbal spell and snuck over to the golden egg. Everyone was confused as they tried to look for Y/N, even the teachers. They became visible when they were next to the egg. The crowd cheered.

"Watch out!" Someone yelled

The dragon's tail knocked Y/N against the stone wall. It ripped part of their shirt on their shoulder to reveal their lightning scar. Y/N fell to the floor in pain.

"They think you're weak." Tom's voice ran through their ears, "Prove them wrong!"

They stood up and gripped their wand.

"Bombardo maxima!" Y/N shot a spell near the dragon

An explosion knocked the dragon down.

"Incendio!" Y/N shot another spell

Flames spewed from Y/N's wand and hit the dragon. Y/N ran to the egg and picked it up.

At the end of the day, there was a party for Harry and Y/N. Harry was the center of attention while Y/N stayed to the side with their gold egg.

"Do you know the clue?" Hermione sat down with Y/N

"I know how to open it. I'll do it soon, let Harry have some attention." Y/N smiled at their nephew

They watched as Harry tried to open it but ended up with an ear perching screech.

"I should have warned him about that." Y/N chuckled

Hermione looked over at Harry.

"So. He's one of your nephews?" Hermione asked

"My one and only nephew." Y/N looked at Hermione, "He's all I have left of the Potter family line."

"What we're your parents like?" She asked more questions

"Euphemia, or Effie, was kind and loving. Fleamont, or Monty, was strong and brave." Y/N smiled at the thought of their parents

"And, your brother?"

"James. James was a trouble maker. Strutting down the halls as if he owned them. Pulling pranks on everyone. But, he was kind." Y/N told Hermione

Y/N looked around, everyone was going to their dorm rooms.

"Y/N." Harry walked over, the egg in his hands, "Do you know the message?"

"I'm gonna find out tomorrow. Ok?" Y/N said

"Ok." He nodded

Harry walked off, it was just Y/N and Hermione.

"You remind me of Remus." Y/N started a new conversation

"How?" Hermione asked

"You're a book worm. Smart. You try to keep the others out of trouble." Y/N shrugged

Hermione smiled.

"The only difference is that you're not a werewolf." Y/N said

"We should get to bed." Hermione stood up

"Yeah." Y/N also stood up

The two walked into their dorm room and went to sleep. Y/N laid awake, staring at the ceiling. After a while, they decided to write a letter to Sirius and Remus.

My dearest, Moony and Padfoot,

The first challenge has been completed and I got the egg! Hogwarts had been different ever since people found out about me but I'm dealing with it, I think.

I'll try to give you more detail on everything when I come back at summer. Stay safe, and out of trouble.

Y/N put the letter in a envelope and gave it to Owlen.
