"It takes a very long time to become young."
- Pablo Picasso

Narnia, 1000

When the sun appeared bright in the sky, the group of six made a quick breakfast and started their journey. Mr and Mrs Beaver said that if they wanted to talk to Aslan, they had to go to his camp and meet him there.

The camp was in a secret spot, but luckily, it wasn't that far by foot. It would take them a couple of hours, but they should be at the camp by lunchtime if it all went well.

In one hour, they reached a high cliff that gave a pretty view of Narnia and its entirety.

" Now, Aslan's camp is near the stone table, just across the frozen river. " Beaver spoke as he pointed at the said river.

" River? " Peter asked curiously.

" The river's been frozen solid for a hundred years. " Mrs Beaver said, and Peter looked at the beyond.

" It's so far. " He groaned tiredly.

" It's the world, dear. Did you expect it to be small? "

" Smaller. " Susan told her brother with a shut face, following the beavers in their path. When Olivia saw Peter hesitating, she and Lucy tucked onto his sleeve, and he trailed after the two.

They walked for two more hours and reached a vast and open field, covered in layers of snow on the ground, but with the trees way too far.

The beavers excitedly led the way, for they seemed not to tire. Susan was right after them since she was more accustomed to not tiring because she was an athlete.

Peter was in slow steps, observing his younger sister grow tired. Olivia held Lucy's hand as she yawned and helped her keep moving.

" Come on, humans! While we're still young. " Susan stopped in her tracks with a frown, and Peter appeared behind her.

" If he tells us to hurry one more time, I'm gonna turn him into a big, fluffy hat. " Peter groaned, and that line earned a laugh out of Olivia and Susan. He tucked Lucy in his back; he used to joke that she was a cowboy and he the horse. They usually played that way in the house, but now, it was merely because Lucy was tired from all that walking.

" Hurry up! Come on! " Beaver pressed.

" He is getting a little bossy. " Lucy agreed.

" No! Behind you! It's her! " Beaver yelled, making the four children look behind. They heard the sound of a sleigh and jingling bells.

Peter placed Lucy back on the ground so they could run faster, and they ran as if their lives depended on it because they did.

They rushed until they found a nice hidden spot, where the trees hid them well, and so did a cliff. It looked like a small cavern in some way.
