"I'd rather die than be without you."

Narnia, 1010

Olivia and Edmund announced their engagement to the entire Narnia.

The creatures had thrown a celebration for them, a festival in honour of the great love of King Edmund the Just and Queen Olivia the Warrior, two of their great Kings and Queens of Narnia. A romance to be celebrated for years, a love story to be considered the new Romeo and Juliet of Narnia.

Edmund had got Olivia a ring shortly after, an emerald gem with a silver line. Inside, their initials were written: E + O, despite Olivia having insisted a ring wasn't necessary.

The Pevensies had all been excited, and Peter had let out a 'finally' once their announcement was out. Susan had quickly started the preparations, nagging Olivia and Edmund about their wedding. Lucy had been so excited that she almost fainted.

Olivia had asked Susan and Lucy to be her bridesmaids, which they had gladly accepted. Edmund had decided to only invite Peter to be his best man, for maybe inviting a horse as his best man ( Phillip ) would be weird.

They were finally as close as they wanted to be, a couple. They started sharing a room and a bed. We are getting married, they would think, and that filled both of them with joy.

For the two following years after their engagement, Edmund and Olivia had been very busy, diverting from wedding details to taking care of their country. But it had all been so joyous.

Edmund absolutely loved to wake up by her side, for the first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was her; Olivia. She loved to kiss him good morning and sleep in his arms' stronghold. Those were the most pleasant days of Olivia's life; busying herself in the anticipation of her wedding, occupying herself with helping her kingdom, and spending so much time with the love of her life.

One day, Olivia woke up strangely. She moved to the side, wanting to kiss Edmund a good morning, but he wasn't beside her. The girl found it odd, but what was weirder was Lucy and Susan, together with Piple the Badger, Bellie the Faun and Mrs Beaver, barging into her's and Edmund's room with excitement.

" Is there a war going on? " Olivia mumbled, still feeling the slumber.

" Worse. Or better. It's today! "

" What's today? "

" Your wedding! "

Olivia widened her eyes, sitting up abruptly. Had she forgotten about her own wedding? She hadn't even seen time fly. Susan clapped her hands, letting a faun come in with a rack and her dress, which was covered by a blanket. Several other Narnians brought hair combs, accessories, a robe, shoes and jewellery.

The girl looked at the calendar on her headboard; it was indeed her wedding day. It was even circled in red, indicating the important date. The girl had been so involved in duties and living her life of engagement she actually forgot about her wedding.

Lucy yanked Olivia out of bed; the girl barely had time to think. " Come on! We need to get you ready! "

Olivia went to the bathroom and washed her face. She had a nice hot bath and put on her robe ( which Susan had ordered to be made ). Susan was discussing several things with Bellie the faun, for they were both taking care of the ceremony, it was their duty to make sure everything went smoothly.

Susan explained that she had grabbed Edmund out of their bed earlier in the morning before she could see him. Lucy had guaranteed Edmund didn't see Olivia because she blindfolded him ( they were taking the tradition of the bride and groom not seeing each other until the wedding too seriously ).

As she opened the window of her room, the air hitting her face, it finally hit her. I'm getting married. I'm marrying Edmund Pevensie!

" I'm getting married. " She exclaimed out loud.

Behind her, the girls cheered. " You're getting married! "

Olivia had one of the best afternoons of her life. She danced, laughed, got dressed and did makeup. She looked at her dress. Once. Twice. It was so beautiful, so perfect. Her beautiful white dress, the one she would wear as she walked down the altar.

I'm marrying Edmund Pevensie.

The girl twirled around the room and did not give peace for Mrs Beaver to do her hair. She finally sat down after a while and allowed her to do her hair.

The Queen asked Mrs Beaver not to do something too complicated, so she did a braided bun with two loose locks of hair. It was delicate, simple, and regal, precisely how Olivia wanted it to be. She carefully placed the veil, trapping it on her bun.

Lucy and Susan helped Olivia into her dress, and she almost forgot how gorgeous it was. The very same dress Olivia had always dreamed of marrying on, white and with silver details. Not too exuberant, perfect for her.

Piple the Badger handed her the bouquet, filled with tulips: her favourite flower. Olivia turned to Susan.

" How did you know Tulips were my favourite flowers? "

" I didn't. Edmund told me. " Smirked the eldest.

That only made the warmth spread on Olivia's belly. He knew her so well. She loved that boy so much.

Lucy handed Olivia her cane, but the girl refused it. The girl wasn't going to walk down the aisle wearing a cane. Her injury wasn't hurting; quite the contrary, Olivia had never felt so painless.

Mrs Beaver knocked on the door, and the two outside guards opened them. They bowed as they watched their Queens come out of the room, proudly looking at Olivia.

" We wish you all happiness, your majesty. " Said the minotaur on the left.

" Thank you, my friend. I'll be sure to bring sweets for you both. " Olivia told them, making a glint surge in their eyes.

" Is the carriage ready? " Susan questioned.

" It is waiting outside. High King Peter and King Edmund have already left on theirs. " Responded the guard on the right, a faun.

Susan nodded and thanked the guards, and the ladies led Olivia all the way outside the castle, where many workers greeted them and wished the Warrior Queen a good wedding, but the girl was too nervous and excited even to realise it.

Lucy and Susan were wearing matching silver dresses, with a little bow on their heads decorating their hair. As Olivia's bridesmaids, they had to wear a certain kind of dress, like Peter had to wear a certain kind of suit.

The carriage was white and gold, indicating it belonged to the bride. Various Narnians cheered on the doors of Cair Paravel, screaming excitedly and holding flags about their to-be-married King and Queen.

Olivia looked at one flag that literally had her head cropped next to Edmund's, with a drawn heart in red circling them. Below, it read: " Have many royal babies! " The Narnians could be very... eager.

The girl gulped as her people yelled her name, wishing good wishes and some asking if they could go to her wedding. Olivia waved to all of them, smiling and raising her bouquet.

She got inside the carriage with the two Pevensie sisters, and the door was closed by Oreius.

I am getting married.
