"A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you" - Elbert Hubbard
Narnia, 1000
Grabbing their things, Peter and Olivia sprinted into action to where the sound was coming. When they entered the scene, the two ran in the water, not caring if it splashed their clothes, and they unsheathed their weapons.
Two wolves were trying to attack Susan and Lucy, jumping and trying to grab the two girls up the tree. They saw Peter and Olivia and stopped trying to jump. Instead, they both began circling the two.
"Come on. We've already been through this before." The first wolf said.
"We all know you haven't got it in you." The second one continued.
"Peter! Watch out!" Susan yelled at her brother.
"This is no business for a girl. Leave while you still can, princess." One of the wolves spat, and Olivia attacked him.
The wolf jumped on top of her, but she got free from his grasp and jumped away. The same wolf was about to attack her again when Aslan came into the scene and pressed his paw into the wolf's neck, trapping him. Behind Aslan came many Narnians, holding their swords and weapons.
"Thanks." Olivia murmured, getting up and brushing the dust off her dress. Aslan nodded at her.
The centaur, Oreius, got his weapon in position and was about to run towards the remaining wolf, thinking this was finally his chance to get his hands on a traitor, but Aslan stopped him.
"No! Stay your weapons. This is Peter's battle." Peter looked at Aslan in desperation and then back at the wolf.
"You may think you're a king, but you're going to die like a dog!" The wolf jumped on top of Peter, making his sisters yell.
Peter fell to the ground with his sword up, making it go through the wolf. The Pevensie sisters jumped from the tree and ran towards their brother, pushing the now-dead wolf off him.
Peter sat up from the ground, looking as disturbed as possible, his eyes wide and his breathing uneasy. Immediately, he hugged his sisters, holding them close and finally relaxing at the thought of their well-being.
Aslan let go of the other wolf, who ran away fast. "After him." Commanded the lion, and the others behind him weren't hesitant to obey. "He'll lead you to Edmund."
"May I go too, Aslan?" Olivia asked as the animals already started to go. "I feel useless. Let me help."
The lion nodded and bobbed his head towards Oreius, the centaur. He kneeled and allowed Olivia to sit on his back, her spear in hand. She nodded at Aslan, and off they were to find Edmund.

The witch's camp wasn't far. They had soon reached it, but Oreius held them off until nightfall since he wanted to use the darkness of the dusk to his advantage. The camp was filled with dwarfs, minotaurs, and cyclops working on new weapons and armour. They, too, were getting ready for war.
