"A king is not his crown."
- Holly Black, The Queen of Nothing

Narnia, 1012

Their escape had been successful.

Prince Rabadash had fallen for the trap, and the Narnian and Archenland courts fled Calormen and returned to their homes.

But, during the voyage, the real Prince Corin had shown up, for the one they had picked on the street was a mere boy who seemed to look like him and had been too scared to say anything.

Corin revealed that he had fled the court to fight some Calormenes who were

talking poorly about Queens Susan and Olivia, and he was all bloody when they had found the true one. Of course, the boy got grounded but received a fist bump from Edmund.

When Olivia, Edmund and Susan were finally free to rest, Chervy the Stag came rushing through the great doors of Cair Paravel.

" Prince Rabadash! He is leading an assault on Anvard, the capital of Archenland, with two hundred men and is coming here to retrieve Queen Susan after he conquers the southern land! " He had exclaimed.

So, soon enough, Lucy, Edmund and Olivia gathered a small army and got into their armours quickly and ready to fight. Susan stayed behind, for she was starting to become a not-fighting kind of Queen during her years in Narnia. Leaving her cane behind, they each mounted on their respective horses to go.

They had to bring Prince Corin along, for the boy had nagged and nagged them until someone allowed him to come. But, he was riding a non-talking pony, for he was still grounded.

They had gone through hours of riding and were near the board between the two Kingdoms, with Peridan leading the way and carrying the great flag of Narnia: a red lion figure on a green background.

They reached a cottage, one belonging to Duffle, the dwarf, and Edmund commanded them to halt and recharge their energies with a quick rest. They were greeted frantically by Duffle, his friends, and a young blonde boy- the copy of Prince Corin.

The young prince had rushed to the boy in the cottage, chatting excitedly with him. Edmund eyed the conversation suspiciously, nodding to Olivia, who understood his gesture. It was funny that they could easily understand each other despite no words being said, nor did they have the ability to read minds. They just... understood one another.

With help from the Just King, Olivia got off her horse and joined their hands together; they walked towards the identical blonde boys, and so did Lucy.

" Who is your friend, Corin? " Asked Olivia lightly.

" Do you not see? " Asked the young prince. " It's my double: the boy you mistook me for back in Calormen. "

" Ah, you are both identical! That is marvellous! " Lucy exclaimed with a smile, admiring the scene, for she found it very funny when two people looked alike. Despite having three siblings, they were all very different, both in looks and personality.
