Edmund Pevensie didn't think twice when jumping to rescue his wife. But the mermaids beat him to it.
The entire crew hurried to the railings, looking at the Warrior Queen being helped up by the sea creatures. Caspian was about to follow Edmund, but Drinian stopped him when seeing the High King and the High Queen were fine.
Drinian dropped the small lift back on the sea, and Olivia waved at the mermaids as she and her husband were hoisted back up on the deck.
One of the crewmen gave them towels, and they rushed back to their work, changing the ship's course and heading towards the island in the distance.
He ran his hands on his face, checking on his wife desperately. "Are you okay? What happened?" Edmund made question after question, making Olivia's head spin.
"I'm alright." She said. "Just lost balance."
Caspian pressed his hand on her shoulder. "Are you sure you're fine?" He asked, his tone of voice like the concerned older brother; she had heard it before with Peter.
"By Aslan's mane," Olivia groaned, throwing the towel in Caspian's face. "Can't a girl just fall in the ocean anymore?"
Edmund trailed after her, Caspian moving to talk to Drinian about something. "Well, I personally prefer it if you stay on the deck and dry." He chipped. "It's tiring to be your knight in shining armour; you know that?"
Olivia laughed. "More like I'm your knight in shining armour, and you're the princess in distress."
"At least I know I'd make a very good princess."
"Oh, yes. The only thing lacking is a dress."
"I'll make sure to buy one when we reach land."

The port of Narrowhaven didn't have a single Narnian flag in sight, which was odd because the Lone Islands had always been Narnia's.
Divided into small boats, two-thirds of the crew had headed to the port while the others stayed in case something went wrong and to clean the ship.
"Onward! The thrill of the unknown lies ahead!" Exclaimed Reepicheep when they hit the shore.
Eustace only grumbled. "Couldn't this have waited 'till the morning?" He looked at the setting sun, something inside him stirring. But Eustace's stomach never stirred ( according to him, he was very healthy, so his stomach was always normal ).
"There is no honour in turning away from adventure, lad."
Olivia giggled, watching Reepicheep and Eustace reminded of her and Caspian during her last adventure, where she had been entasked as Caspian's protector. She taught him well, and even after they returned to the castle, Olivia kept nagging him about more and more things to study about ruling. But he seemed to enjoy it and was an excellent student, unlike Eustace.
