"Kiss me until I am sick of it."
- Holly Black, The Wicked King

Narnia, 1005

It had been an enjoyable afternoon.

Olivia, Susan, and Lucy decided to get themselves ready together, which had been very fun.

They had entered a water war, throwing water at one another until they were soaking wet and had to shower afterwards. They helped each other with Jewels, putting on their dresses, and doing each person's hair.

Sharing laughter and smiles was great; Olivia would grow closer and closer to the Pevensie sisters. They were both so enjoyable, so fun to spend time with. They were almost becoming the sisters she never had.

Olivia wore a soft lilac dress, a light colour that matched her crown. Her hair was loose on her shoulders, decorated with violet flowers on its ends. Hesitantly, the girl grabbed her cane and took it to the ball.

Lucy wore a yellow dress, stunning with golden jewels that matched the tonality of her hair. Susan wore a darker tone of blue, with silver shoes and braided hair. The two sisters looked gorgeous as well; they all did.

Accompanied by two guards, they headed towards the ballroom, in which they were awaited. As tradition, the hostesses had to arrive a little bit late to their own ball, to be announced when everyone would already be there.

The two guards knocked on the door in a rhythm, a signal that the Queens had arrived and were ready to be introduced. Olivia nervously fumbled with her fingers, recalling Mr Tumnus' lesson, about dancing and ball formality.

She gave her cane to the guard and whispered to him for someone to give it to her after she finished the first dance. He nodded and gave the object carefully to another minotaur, who was quick to go to the ballroom through another entrance.

" Your majesties, who shall enter first? " Asked one guard.

Lucy volunteered. " I shall. Let me get this over with. " She shrugged, and Susan and Olivia moved to the right, out of door sight.

The loud sound of Narnian trumpets echoed, announcing the first Queen. The great doors were opened, revealing Lucy to various pairs of curious eyes and flashing lights from below.

" Queen Lucy, The Valiant. " Announced Oreius the Centaur., who awaited by the other side of the door.

Peter, Edmund and Mr Tumnus awaited by the middle of the staircase, where they would follow the rules of the beginning of the ball.

Lucy walked down the middle of the stairs, where Mr Tumnus offered his arm, and the Queen gladly took it. The two finished descending the stairs, smiling brightly and politely waving to the guests.

Olivia started moving to go in second, but Susan stopped her. " May I go? " She asked.

" I thought you'd like to go last since you're the hostess. But go ahead. " Olivia answered.
