"Give me your phone." Joon held out his hand to Jimin who dug into his pocket and produced it.

You watched as Joon took his own from his pocket as well and sighed. You could see he was thinking through something and the three of you waited while he worked it out silently in his head. Finally he handed his to Kookie and Jimin's to you.

"Keep our phones, stay in touch at least every twenty four hours, more if you can, tell us it they change your location. It's not the solution I want, but I don't really think we can go up against the NIS and win. Hide them when you have to and don't get them confiscated."

Joon took his back from Kookie and tapped on the screen for a couple seconds then returned it to Kookie. He nodded toward Jimin continuing to give instructions, his tone no nonsense and full of authority.

"Disable facial recognition and biometrics Jimin. And the two of you will need to change the passcode to an unguessable six digit number. No birthdays, no holidays, nothing that's partially a number that's connected to you or your family. No 123456, no sequential numbers at all." You felt confused but Jimin took the phone back and you watched as he took his identification off of it.

"What's this about Joonie?" You were grateful Kookie asked because you were afraid of looking stupid if the rest of them understood what you didn't.

"With facial recognition or fingerprints the police can get into your phone without your permission if they take it. All they have to do is hold it up to your face or hold your finger on it. With a passcode they'd have to force you to reveal it, which is harder and requires you to participate." You almost smiled at Joon's big brain at work, but inwardly you cringed. That information was unsettling to be honest and something you'd never thought about.

Jimin handed the phone back and you typed in 231709 which was an old locker combination from middle school gym. The lock hadn't existed in years, long since thrown away and only an ex best friend knew it and if they could find her and she remembered you'd be pretty surprised.

"We'll get temporary phones when we get back and send you the numbers. It's the best I can think of right now." Joon looked pained and you could understand that emotion, just thinking about Jimin leaving again had you upset. You thought his phone idea was rather brilliant and didn't doubt he'd think of more later.

"Is there anything you want to delete before you leave this with me?" You turned on Jimin's lap and grinned trying to joke, but the thought did cross your mind you could find things you didn't want to know if you snooped.

"Tae and Jin already erased almost everything, don't be offended when you see you don't exist in it." Jimin tugged you closer burying his nose against your neck, you realized this was the beginning of goodbye.

Turning to press your back against his chest you raised the phone and opened the camera. You snapped a couple pics then kissed him and snapped a few more. After the first couple Jimin understood and posed cutely with you for the last.

"Now I do, we do. I'll take more pics and save them every day." You kissed his nose and smiled, he nodded and squeezed you tightly even though he didn't return it. This didn't feel like jealousy he'd presented before, just sadness. When would you see him again?

"We have to go, there's a lot to prepare for tonight." Joon broke the quiet moment and dragged Kookie into a hug as you reluctantly stood from Jimin's lap.

"Message me a lot Angel. Tell me you love me all the time and think about me constantly." He spun you to face him and kissed your neck then behind your ear, finally your lips like he was memorizing all his favorite spots to place his lips above your shoulders.
