You were looking out for any sign of trouble, considering that Apis had escaped, it wasn't going to be long before the navy came looking for her. A couple of navy ships were crowding at the back.
"Hey guys! Trouble." Luffy comes out and you pointed to the approaching fleet. Apis came and confirmed who they were.
"It's branch 8, they are the ones who captured me." She pointed to the number on the larger sail.
"We should just go over there and fight them." Zoro was reading my mind, there was no point in thinking too much about it. You reached the ground opened the hole and pulled out Adira, the name you decided to give your scythe. ( Adira is a name of Hebrew origin meaning strong, noble and powerful) The past few days had been boring so a fight wouldn't be so bad.
"No we're escaping." Nami said.
"EH!? But why though." You pouted.
"As crazy as you guys are, we can't fight all of them."
"How will we know unless we actually fight?" You felt something hard on your skull, Nami's fist had made contact with the top of your head.
"What was that for?!" She sighed and didn't even answer.
"A strong wind blowing south." You both looked down to see Apis looking at the bird. Must be a devil fruit.
"A gust is coming, we have to get out of here quickly." Nami took charge of the situation ordering everyone around, you were still salty sulking in a corner when it hit you, the ship had been moving straight for a while.
"Nami-"
"No Y/n, we are not going back to fight." You just keep quiet, there was no point we are already moving too fast. After escaping you started counting to see how long it would take them to figure it out, Zoro seemed to pick up on the fact that we were stagnant.
"Zoro you've had a serious look on your face for a while, what's up?" Nami observed the swordsman who was eyeing the sail.
"Well, it looks like we aren't moving." The sail was just hanging there flatly, not a single puff of air present to lift it.
"AAAH!" Nami's face drained of all colour.
"I've made a mistake! Guys you better start rowing." She explained that we were stranded in the calm belt after escaping, you had realized earlier being so close to the Grand line. It took them six minutes.
There was no point in paddling now. You heard some voices coming from below the ship and they were getting closer. The ship rocked side ways as multiple sea kings emerged from the depths of the deep.
Everyone tried to not make a sound or get noticed. Too bad Usopp couldn't hold in his fear and let out a scream. A frog like sea king noticed and went to attack missing us as the ship slod forward onto the back of another sea king. Apis fell into a mouth and luckily Luffy stretched to catch her, when she was back on deck she wanted to go back with an idea.
She pulled out the nose hairs of the sea king and Luffy pulls her back, before she crashed on the deck Zoro caught her. The sea king sneezes and we are sent flying in the sky holding onto the ship for dear life. Where we landed there was fog but through it a ship outline was visible.
"Wah that's a huge ship." Luffy said.
"Huge doesn't even begin to explain that."
The fog cleared, it was Apis' home. The ship was brought to the harbor and villagers came down happy to see Apis okay but they were still cautious of us being pirates.
"Is there a BBQ place here?" As usual the only thing occupying Luffy's mind was food.
Apis ran up to her grandpa jumping in his arms. He invited us up to his house to get pork buns that would take about 5 hours.
"I should tell you about the history of this land." Apis froze and stood up walking away silently.
"The king had three sons the oldest was Bokeltontas, the second was BokeBonboko and the third was Bokebokepon......... "
The narrating had been going on for long and your eyelids were getting heavier and heavier. It was already evening and Luffy went out to pee, Nami left a couple of minutes later to check on him and you fell asleep.
"Stooopp." The sleep wasn't enough, you wanted to sleep some more but someone decided to shake you vigorously.
"Y/n wake up!" It was Luffy and looking out the sun had come up, the others also stirred awake. Nami wanted to show us something when one of the residents came bursting through the door.
"You guys are pirates right? There's a problem marines are at the harbor and they've blocked it."
"When the old guy wakes up tell him we'll take care of Apis." With that Nami led the way to a cave where there was a dragon that looked like it didn't have much time left. The situation was that we needed to get grandpa Ryu back to lost island so he could get better.
Usopp went near him and Ryu bit his head. Too bad there were no pork buns the only reason we even came into the island. Apis had a devil fruit that let her hear the thoughts of animals, whisper-whisper fruit. You weren't buying whatever Apis was selling, there was no way that taking this Millennial dragon back would heal him. You decided to walk closer to the dragon.
"Be careful Y/n he's senile." Apis warned.
"I'll be fine." You walked closer trying to keep the talk as confidential as possible.
"Are you really going to get better?" You had a questioning look. Well it was just as you thought, he was at the end of his time. You would help him get to the place he so desired to rest.
Nami explained the plan and we started cutting down wood and tying it together to make a cart. Usopp and Zoro were going to get the ship and bring it to the cape that looked like the Sniper's nose.
Meanwhile together with Luffy and Sanji we put Ryuji on the cart and waited for going Merry. While you were waiting a bird came and told Apis that the Marines were approaching. They soon came up and started shooting, Ryuji protected Apis. Luffy jumped in front and repelled the bullets.
You joined the fight together with Sanji kicking them and you slashing with Adira. After everything one marine remained standing tall with his hairdo up to the sky.
