"My name is Eric the whirlwind, a mercenary hired by Nelson Royal.." He continued talking but no one was listening, he said something about a sicko fruit then slashed the air with his hand and created a whirlwind that didn't look right. You dropped into a split with your torso on the ground, the other two weren't so lucky, Sanji and Luffy got slashed.
"Guys the ship is close come on." Nami called us and we got on with the exception of Sanji who would push the cart down.
"Nami-san~ I'll be your love catapult!" Sanji yelled pushing the cart a quickly getting on. The cart was going down fast, Luffy almost fell off but Ryuji caught him. When landing, if it could even be called that, a navy warship was at the bay and we crashed straight into the mast destroying it before landing in the water. The wooden cart was attached to Merry with two ropes.
After sailing aimlessly in the water looking for anything that was a clue Apis said Ryuji remembered something, he said to sail East of Warship island. Sanji made some food and now he was doing dishes with Zoro which was surprising, what wasn't was the navy following us close behind.
There was a reflection of the ship and the Merry disappeared into it, over on the other side was a brewing storm. Nami guided us to the center where it was calmer. You were tying up the sails and saw the ropes attaching Ryuji to the ship unraveling. Apis went to grab them but she couldn't do it on her own, luckily Zoro was close by to help, so reliable.
Luffy stretched out securing it properly. We arrived at an island that had buildings falling apart, this was thought to be lost island but it looked a bit too civilized to be a dragons nest, it didn't look like a place where animals would stay. At the peak of the island was a building that we headed to for a better view of the place.
Nami was slave driving the crew making them push the cart uphill after all that tiring work they reached but couldn't get in. Apis pulled out a key but when she tried to unlock the door she couldn't reach. Luffy then took the key but the ground collapsed and everyone fell through the fresh hole in the ground.
You were very much okay having landed on Zoro's lap with all that force including the weights you wear.
"Ah,m sorry." You stood up and Zoro followed.
"Damn why are you so heavy?"
"Are you sure your just not weak?" He ignored your taunting, the attention was diverted to the diagrams on the roof that Nami interpreted as a map. It showed that the lost island was warship island. Where you guys currently were was the place Apis' grandpa was talking about when he mentioned those dynasties and everything.
"Is this the place?" Usopp asked Apis.
"Grandpa Ryu doesn't know."
"Well then he's just useless," Usopp said.
"I don't see you being useful." Apis retorted, children can be ruthless. You were wondering why they had so many kings and it didn't look like a kingdom, seems that they migrated. Apis started getting frustrated loosing hope of finding this island. She needed some reassurance.
"It wouldn't be called lost island if it was so easy to find." We all told her not to give up.
"Someone's here with bloodlust." Eric jumps down.
"It's the guy with the sickle-sickle fruit." Sanji says.
"You go I'll handle it here," Zoro informed Luffy. Luffy looked for a way for us to escape. He then ran head first to the wall and nothing happened, he really thought that through.
"Oi oi oi oi..." You all said after his attempt. The wall next to where he hit started to crumble down, all in all it seemed whatever he did worked. We left and pushed Ryuji out only to fall and roll downhill. After yet another chaotic journey we were back on the water, you finished retying the ropes to the ship ready to depart, the green haired swordsman was nowhere to be seen.
"Zoro is in trouble." Apis says. Wow, even the animals could tell he was struggling in that fight. Luffy reached out and grabbed Zoro, he came back crashing onto the floor boards and we left. Getting out of the mirage thing there was a fleet coming for you guys.
"Looks like a gargoyle." Luffy pointed out the figure head of the ship. There was no escaping this, the multiple ships made a chain link and started firing.
"We should get on board, attack and break the chains." Usopp had already made a plan that would be followed in the next passing moments, Nami was steering perfectly making sure we didn't get hit when the marines revealed a hidden weapon. They pulled out a gigantic canon, if that hit you guys Merry would immediately sink. Usopp aimed for the canon and hit it causing an explosion.
"That was so cool," Apis shouted.
"Yes, very cool." You shot Usopp a thumbs up.
"It was probably a fluke." "A lucky shot." Zoro and Sanji chose to be salty. Luffy stretched to one of the ships and the three ran along his arms to the ships.
Zoro would cut the steel chain links while you and Sanji handled the small fries. It was a simple task, damaging organs here and there. Eric showed up trying to take Ryuji and Apis captive but the dragon threw him off effectively protecting Apis.
Ryuji roars took up to the skies with the marines shooting at him, with multiple wounds he falls and Luffy goes to him. On his way the sea starts to shake and a flock of millennial dragons emerge from beyond the mountains to assist in battle.
Luffy destroyed the main ship and water level slowly started to drop unravelling all that was sought for, the lost island, only one problem remained at hand.
Grandpa Ryuji wasn't moving, the dragon just lay there motionless.
