Welcome back once more to darkest hero, haven't updated in a bit but here we are once more. Ye have asked and ye shall receive.

Usual Q and A, haven't skipped it once yet but whatever.

Q: now that Baka-hoe is dead what'll happen to anime Doctor Dufenshmurts?

A: he'll show up again later in the story but for now he is background at best.

Chapter 61: End of an Icon

Izuku was starting to get more worried than he had previously been about the demonic invasion when the staff room which was visible from the stadium started glowing brightly and space started to shudder in revolt around it. He could already see Loona and a woman he had never seen before sprinting towards him with Himiko and Eri tucked under Loona's arms. The puppets clinging to the other woman as they went.

"HIT THE DECK!" Loona screamed before jumping into one of the many trenches made in the area by the defending students and teachers.

Izuku barely had time to before a burst of energy rattled out from the staff room blowing out the windows as a white light filled the sky, rippling across the barrier which in turn set loose a shower of sparks.

"WHO THE HECK DID THAT?!" Charlie screamed as she slowly got back to her feet.

"I think it was Leviathan." The woman who had ran with the puppets replied as she slowly climbed from the trench, dirt covering her face and dust in her hair.

"What did mum do?" Izuku asked in worry. Magic was not his forte and to him it looked like a massive explosion.

"She strengthened the wards." Loona explained as she climbed out with Eri clinging to her side. "Okay squirt hop off."

"No." Eri replied bluntly as she refused to let go. "Making sure you're safe."

"Great." Loona sighed, her ears drooping slightly.

"KUR EN TUK!" An enraged voice echoed out over the city drawing attention to the Icon of Sin trying to fight something on a semi constructed rooftop while being shot from different directions.

[With Miruko]

Miruko was frankly put beyond PISSED. First she had her day ruined by a demonic incursion, then she found out her drinking buddy Mt Lady was potentially crippled for life thanks to some demon and now she was being slapped around by a half strength icon of all things! Some hapless Whiplash tried to grab her from the left only for her to grab the barbed chain, yank the snake demon towards her and grab it by the arms. She planted a foot firmly on its chest and pulled back it's arm with pushing with her foot. A wet cracking filled the air as the demon's arms were ripped loose before she proceeded to crush its head with its own arms.

"Drycleaning is going to be a bitch." Miruko snarled in anger at the state of her costume.

"KUR EN TUK!" Her father screamed before unloading on the icon using his customised triple barrel Minigun with a hail of lead.
