"Wub..box. Wubbox. Wubbox." He repeated.

"Thats right. Your name is Wubbox." She spoke to him. He looked at his dark metal hands, admiring how he looked. She had the same arms as he did, yellow with a blue spiral. But, he had strange arms, connected by blue electricity and two disks.
"I look different."

"You do, and thats alright."
Wubbox placed his hands upon the table, then pushed himself off the table which he sat on. He landed, but his legs quickly collapsed. Galvana grabbed his arms just in time, pulling him up.
"Careful! You can't walk yet. eager to learn, are you?"

"Yes." He replied with a bit of confusion. Why couldn't he stand? Why were his legs like uneven rocks? Maybe his legs weren't used to his body weight just yet. He could move his legs, but they struggled to stay straight under him.
"Use the counter side to hold yourself up." She said.
He looked backwards, turning his body, and reaching his hand out behind him to hold onto the counter top.
"It's cold." He acknowledged of the table. He liked to explore the land around him. It was nice to find new things to learn about.
"Mom." He turned around. Galvana was on the other side of the room, at a counter where she flipped through a book. She didn't care to acknowledge him.
He turned around, and attempted to take a step with no support. But, his legs gave way, throwing him to the ground. His core dragged behind, protecting itself from cracking against the cold, tiled floor.
He breathed quickly, in shock about his sudden displacement. He lifted himself to his knees, looking up to his mother who still did not look away from her work. He brought one of his knees between his arms, planting his foot down and lifting himself up. He stumbled backwards, hitting the cabinets, then stepped forwards again, more quickly changing his legs as he nearly fell while walking across the room. He put his hands out in front of him as stopped to the next counter.
He then stepped around to the other side, holding onto his mother's leg.
"Whats up buddy?" She looked to him finally.

"I.. i walked from over there to here."

"Thats great! Good job." He patted him in the head. "Now Wubbox, can you do a little job for mom? I need you to go take a note to your father."

"Where?"

"Just outside the building. I got it right here, and once you give it to him, come back here."
She handed Wubbox the note, a fine paper wrapped with a bit of red string.
"The door is over there. Open the door, turn left, go out the big doors down that hall, and you'll be outside. Your dad is just out there."
Wubbox stepped backwards, looking at the door just ahead of him. He stumbled over to the door with some stuggle, reaching up to hold the door knob and turning it to swing the door open. For a new soul, he was quite intelligent—likely attributed to being machine, not naturally made like every other monster. Well, Vhamp is machine too, right?
He held onto the wall to structure himself as he walked further down the hall to the clear doors. Outside, he could see other monsters outside talking with Vhamp—them being Attmoz, Torrt, Plixie, and Furnoss. Once he got to the door, he pushed it open, but stopping before he walked completely out. They were quite a bit away, and he hadn't walked that long of a distance before. Would he make it without falling and making a fool of himself? He noticed that the pink and blue Plixie was looking at him as he hesitated. He began to walked forwards slowly. A few of the others began to notice him walking up to them. Vhamp turned around when he noticed them looking away.
"Hey, whats up little buddy?" Vhamp asked him once he got close enough. Wubbox handed him the tied note. "Thank you bud, i'll be inside in a second, alright?" Wubbox nodded, starting his way back to the building, listening to them talking behind him.
"Is that your son?" One asked.
