Wubbox took the comb from his desk, carefully holding Thwok still as he started to comb his hair. Thwok stayed silent, staring at the floor as he stayed curled up with his legs to his chest, his arms to his sides, and his long, striped tongue around his neck, which was a self soothing behavior he had developed as a child.

The war was very harsh on them, and though Wubbox had heard about a gathering of all monsters who wished to come, but decided against it, as a party would likely stress them out more than anything.

Bona was reading a book about monster history, being fascinated with the end of dawn of fire. Bona had not fought much in the war, but he had been hit with a "y" shaped scar along his left eye, but luckily it started to heal, only leaving a faint dark line as it started to heal back up. His "bones" were more like flesh then they were bone; though it was hard and tough, healing cracks would look as if it was cut open skin, slowing healing itself up like a knife wound, but more quickly.

Whajje was laying on his side asleep, likely dreaming of going back home. Whajje was told to stay at the medical place as he feared hurting someone else, but once it was attacked by a few feral concept monsters, he was tackled to the ground and sustained many scratches along his fuzzy belly, leaving dark red marks clearly visible through his now thin fur. They did have to trim his belly fur to be able to handle his wounds accordingly.

Wubbox only had a few cracks along his chest and arms, but it was nothing it couldn't heal itself. Zizzou, or Water, had his tail ripped, and a scar along his cheek.

But Thwok... They concluded he had some kind of brain injury. When he was first brought to the medical place, he had a missing horn, and a long, six-inch gash upon his head. Nobody knew who had attacked him, but a concept-tweedle and concept-glowl were near him, seemingly having a fight on who should take the first bite to see if it was safe. Once he had woken up, he struggled to see straight, remember most things, write, spell and speak, understand simple tasks, and move his body on his own.

Wubbox struggled to keep himself together to see his son seemingly decline in mental age. He didn't want to stay with him as he felt it would be too much, but after a good scolding from others, he finally took him home. Or, to the shed anyways.

Once Wubbox had stopped combing his hair, he placed it back down. Luckily, his broken horn started to lightly stick out from his head once more. But for now, it would take time for him to learn.

He patted Thwok's shoulder, having him stand up then walking to the wall as well. Bona then got up, and walked over to Wubbox. Wubbox took Bona's head gently, and lifted it up to see his scar. "Dad, did you know that the Celestials actually experimented on ethereal island with bubblerite?"

"Y'know, i've been around for such a long time you thought i would know, but i've never heard that before!"

"It's true! 'Cuz in their empty 'meadows' on ethereal island, you can still find bubblerite statues which didn't work, and monocolus would be their first creation!"

"That is very interesting, Bona. But I need you to stay still for me, ok?"

Bona nodded, then turned around and sat down.
They were all getting a little inspection for lice, as Wubbox said, "They looked disheveled, as if they hadn't cleaned themselves in a while and lived in the ghettos and streets like rats." He didn't trust any of the concepts, assuming all of them were infected with some grossness that would infect his kids.
