"Excuse me, sir!" A cheery voice called out.
Repatillo closed his book and looked up, but then sat up straight with confusion. It eyed the unexpected visitor, not having seen any monster like this one before. It looked similar to Humbug, but much larger, on all eight claws, eyes that jud out, and a large claw with three strikes, and another hand which would be used to play it. He shook his head. "Y-Yes, Ma'am?"
"I'm new here, and I was wondering if I could rent a room while I get situated." She said with a smile.
"S-Sure.. It'll be about 30M coins."
"Do you take a debit card?" She asked, reaching into her bag.
"Yes, we can take any kind of card." The bug-monster took out their dark blue card, and handed it to him. He swiped the card at the reader, and after clicking a few keys on his keyboard, he asks, "Small room i'm guessing?"
"Yep! I should only be a day or two, maybe three at the latest."
He made a few more taps, then handed her the card back. "Enjoy your stay, ma'am."
"Thanks! Have a great day!" Her wings buzzed as she smiled, quickly taking her bag back with her, and outside. Only, Repatillo wondered how he wasn't informed of a new monster native to fire haven. He specifically wasn't important, but his brother–a rare Repatillo–was in fire haven's small parliament, and he would of been told by his brother to be friendly. Maybe he was just here for so long, and didn't know a new monster was found on a different fire or magical island. He decided to let it go, and would find out later on.
