Water had made it back home. Home to the warm water island, where he was used to the humidity, and the fresh smell of saltwater. As soon as he stepped away from the portal, He found a few of his friends by the portal too.

"Oh my goodness, Water! You have to come see the new guy!" Both Flimm and Flamm spoke out with excitement.

"New guy? Who is it?" Water asked.

"It's a monster Blabbit found in the Monstriana trench! It's like..a scooberdiver thing that also looks like an anglerfish. You just have to see it, come on!" Jeeode excitedly explained.

Water walked with a few others, and began making their way to the center of town. Down there, they had an abandoned stage where some monsters would perform on the weekends, but now, the new monster sat on it, with a few observers taking notes for the monster-guide.

The new monster was a deep blue, had spiky tentacles, six arms that held white balls that buzzed, had many sharp teeth, two large fins, two small eyes, and most prominently, an opening in its stomach, which looked to have something similar to a galaxy floating in the gap.

Jeeode brought Water up the side, and he could see one monster was testing its ability to solve a rubix cube. It got frustrated when it was only able to make one side the color white.
"Oh, Come here, Water!" Parlsona waved him over.

Water walked over carefully, and sat down. The new monster looked at him with awe, then moving to its side and reaching its fins out to him with a smile.

Water carefully moved forward and picked it up, only getting a moment to look at it before it latched onto his chest, refusing to let go.
"Wow, he must like you!" Maggpi chuckled.

"Could it be because he's a real submarine, and that reminds him of something?" Epic Shellbeat questioned.

"Could be.." Parlsona wondered.

Water tried to carefully pry the monster off him, but it did not budge. Its upper arms held over Water's neck-bars, and its lower tentacles latched onto the small gate protecting his core. Water decided to stop being so gentle, and was able to get its tentacles off the gate, then slowly pulling it off.

The monster then looked at him with little critter eyes, its mouth in a frown as it tried to hold onto him again.
"No latching onto me." Water stated clearly.

The monster grumbled, its fins and arms lowering with slight anger as it looked away with a pout.
Water placed it down by Parlsona again. "Do we have a name for this?" Water asked.

"We're thinking of Anglow. Because he's like an angler fish, and the balls in these arms glow. We already added him to the water island's song, so when we play next, you should hear him!" Parlsona cheerfully replied, bringing her hand up to start petting its head gently.

"Well, it seems to like to latch on." Water remarked.

"By the way, how is Wubbox?" Blabbit asked for water, tilting its head to the side.

"Just usual, but a bit less angry." Water replied.

"Is he less angry because of the mirror islands?" Blabbit shook out their fur as they asked.

"I dunno, but it could be." Water shrugged.

"We're going to have amber island kayna and kayno come over with their ship soon and they can approve him going into the monster guide. Just making sure he isn't like a critter or something."

Water kept an eye on Anglow as they kept watching. He couldn't help but wonder why it was so grabby with him. Its tentacles wrapped around his core's barrier, as if trying to break it open, but it could have been possible. It was just really exciting and I wanted to hug and latch on, but maybe it was just a coincidence.

Maybe he should just brush it off, it wouldn't be right to immediately accuse a new monster of attempting to harm him. And besides, it acts as if it's a young child, so it can be easily brushed off as an accident.
