The beautiful sun had set on the island, letting the beautiful moon take its place to watch over the island for the night. Well, the ocean. Their island was underwater and in a giant bubble, so does that count?

Eitherway, Anglow was on his way back to the castle where he slept. Their island was a bit different from other islands. Mostly, anyways. Though on all islands, any monsters could stay there for free and for however long they wished, but on their island, only higher ups would be able to stay in the castle rent free.

But for a reasonable cost, of course. Everyone was relatively wealthy on their island. Everyone could afford a house, could make their own business if they wanted, could care for every child they had, or anything they could do. Even with their wealth, some decide to live cheap lives. Because of that, the castle only allowed thoughts truly down on their luck, or higher ups in the government, but many higherups did not actually stay in the castle.

Anglow carefully opened one of the large doors to the castle, and slipped inside. In the lobby of the castle epic shellbeat, Maggpi, Parlsona, Blabbit, and Jeeode were there. He had heard about their recent discussion, something about issues with other islands, but he wasn't really invited. "He's too young to understand."

So, after waving to them as he passed, he got up the stairs, and began walking to his room. But he stopped when he heard something from a nearby door. He recognized the number–that being Water's room. He moved over to gently listen to what he was hearing. It didn't sound natural. Almost like some kind of..whining?

He hated whining. But shouldn't Water be asleep? He'd gone to his room before he got back, and it was about two hours past sunset.
Anglow used one of his fins to reach up, and gently turned the doorknob to the right.

Once the door gently opened to let a small bit of light in, he could clearly see Water was in his bed, but his fins were glowing brightly and twitching, and his tail seemed to lash in its open space. Anglow seemed shocked at this. He was wise, calm, and uplifting, but he was crying? He opened the door, but why wasn't Water acknowledging he was there?

Anglow decided to close the door behind him as he stepped in gently.
Water still seemed to not acknowledge the sounds. Anglow carefully slithered over to him, stopping just beside his bed.

He used one of his tentacles to take hold of the bed's frame so he could look over, then reached his fin out, and gently touched water's shoulder.
But as he did, the room quickly went dark as his fins stopped glowing, and his tail went limp. Anglow froze up in fear, but pulled his fin away.

Water then stirred awake with a groan, and gently sat up, causing Anglow to move back to the ground with a thump.
The sound of falling back down made Water flinch, stopping for a second before turning over to look at where the sound came from. And looking to his left, he saw Anglow on the ground, looking up to him fearfully; his small balls glow, and his mock-universe glowed with small, white lines swirling around.

"...Anglow..?" Water questioned in a groggy voice.

"I-I'm sorry I woke you... I heard whining, so I came to investigate. I thought you got hurt!" Anglow apologies.

Water sighed, looking away for a moment before speaking again. "It was probably just a nightmare. I don't remember it though."

"Is something wrong? That's causing the nightmares?" Anglow asked with a frown, his protruding, long teeth sticking up, over his lip.
