[Chapter 27]

It hadn't been a long while since the war. Well, a month isn't too long in the grand scheme of things of the universe, was it? Either way, it was the first time he would leave the island since that time. He didn't attend the gathering after the war, as he still had to recover, bringing Mimic's body on shore, and seeing his two son's grief just before being taken to get their sentencing in the dungeon.

Hyehehe got seven years because of treason, as he had a document record on earth island claiming his residence, but Clubbox only gotten three, as he did not have a record, and it was unable to be proven he had residence on any island, likely being forced to fight with the countless other concepts.

Speaking of, since the sheer abundance of concepts, they started to make a new prison and jail on air island specifically for concepts, but after their time, they would be used for regular monsters and concepts. Oh jeez, sorry, i tend to ramble!

Water sat up from his bed quickly, stepping down and stretching his limbs. After a moment, his phone made a ding and lit up with a notification. "Where the hell are you?" He saw the message was from Air.

He took his phone, then saw the messages before. He had gone to sleep earlier the night previously, as he had planned to see his friends and go to work. Apparently, Air had forgotten to tell him, and instead texted him at 12AM. He was asleep at the time of course, so he only just now knew. And apparently, he was two hours late, and they couldn't start without him.

"Shit!" He exclaimed, and quickly got up, swiping his bag off the counter and dashing out the door. He didn't want to cause a scene, so instead, he opted to speed walking down the halls and stairs, and out the front door.

He quickly rushed down the sidewalk, and to the portal, which unfortunately was on the other side of the island. At least his urgency made him get there in a reasonable time. He quickly said the code for light island, and hoped through.

As he made his way to light island, he slowed down as he kept walking to the castle quickly.

As he stepped inside the castle, he saw Larvaluss talking with a lady at the desk, but turned to look at him when he noticed him walking over.
"Water, what were you doing? I've been waiting for you forever!" He scolded.

"I know, but Air told me about it too late, so I woke up later on and had to rush over here." Water replied back.

"God man.." He shook his head disappointingly.

The two then stepped into the portal, and onto magical sanctum. It was a large, faded-purple, fuzzy island, and horns and red masses would occasionally stick out, as if they were on the flat head of another monster.
They rounded a corner, and saw everyone else that was on the island.

His brothers, the other magical sanctum monsters, and a few fire monsters. But, though Earth was supposed to be in prison, He was here, still cuffed up and with two guards.
"Water, there you are! Why have you been so late?" Kayna asked him.

"Because Air only told me about it at 12AM, aka: I was asleep!"

"Air!" Kayna turned to Air angrily.

"I forgot! I have too much to do on a daily basis, you have no idea! One of them includes not dying!" Air defended himself.

"You should have told him as soon as I told you!" Kayna scolded him.

"III'MM SORRY OK!!" Air shouted.

"ENOUGH!" Kayna shouted, then took a breath. "Whatever. We just need to get this done, ok? 'Shouldn't be too long."

"Quick rundown, we're having you all check out your respective mirror islands, which are exactly the same as your regular islands, but empty and abandoned. We had sent a tweedle to each island not long prior, and they reported seeing an epic wubbox on each island, as well as the common on water island, and the rare on earth island, so we'll be sending them there too." Floogull informed them.

"Question, why do I have to do this?" Earth said with an annoyed tone.

"Many of the wubbox there are very similar to you, and if your able to negotiate with them for us to use their land, we could use it as an alternative to air island, where they are sent to which island they were on before, or more close to, instead of using air island for all our problems."

"But what if they're like savage primals? They could kill us!" Ice asked.

"They won't, and we'll send you off with a little trinket in case it does happen. But I'm sure you'll be fine." Kayno reassured them.

As they spoke, Edamimi got out from under the ship's deck, and to the stairs. "All ready to board!"

"Thanks Edamimi!" Kayna thanked her. "Well, let's get to the ship, shall we?"

They all would then board the ship, and would fly in the direction of plant island first. They would each say goodbye, and then they'd go to the next island. And at last, they would come to face their fears..
