~With Earth and Rare~

Earth and Rare were let off on earth island. As soon as they did, Rare said he didn't want to be near him, and turned to walk in a different direction. Earth wanted to ask why and be rude to him, but he mostly wanted to focus on his other.

He stepped over the rocks and burnt trees, observing everything around him. He wondered why the island looked so similar to the regular earth island, the only difference was that the sky was a toxic green with smoke, and purple vine-like things wrapping around the island and trees.

After walking for sometime, he stopped at the sight of the castle. He was slightly surprised that a castle existed, as they said it was mostly abandoned. He decided to walk over to it, hoping that maybe he would find his other.
He was only a few steps from the castle, then was quickly tackled to the ground. Looking up, it was something nearly identical to him, but clear differences.

It was much larger than him, though he was the biggest of his brothers, it's tail was long with a sharp, blade-like end, spikes along the sides of his head and body, crimson-red electricity, black eyes with white pupils, no waist, more sharp pincers, and a strong underbite instead of fangs.

"Look at this~ I didn't expect the other to look so much like me~" it chuckled darkly with a grin.

"Put me down! I can easily kick your ass!" Earth shouted, trying to get free from the other's grasp.

"Oh, how menacing~" It slithered, then tossed Earth back to the ground. Earth quickly stood back up, his tail's rattle making a loud chattering sound as he growled.

"Look, I was only sent here for some 'negotiation' things. Do you think you can handle that?"

"No one is going to use my land for anything. Period." It started with a snarl.

"Why do you prize it so much? I'm sure they'll let you stay on it."

"I prize it because it's my home! I'm not letting anyone else use it for anything!" The other then swung at him, but Earth was able to rush to the other side, and quickly ran past him and into the forest. He looked back, and it was quickly following behind him, towering over him and the trees.

Rare looked down as he sat in silence. The other sat by him, and inspected him. Rare found it when he was in the woods, and the other, though also mostly like him in the hopeless, depressed sense, was also curious about him. The only difference this other had from him was having no plug-tail, and black whites of its eyes.
Rare wasn't as interested as the other was, but he didn't mind what it did.

It had taken a hold of the sides of his head, and other parts of him, as if comparing how similar they were. The other had told him it was mostly blind, but could just barely see broken shapes and slightly-dulled colors.

And maybe that was rubbing off on him, because Rare's left eye started to get darker, but he was not closing his eye, and he knew when he was blinking, and it slowly got more dark until it was completely dark, and he now only had one eye to see
from.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" The other looked with a guilty and scared look, letting go of his head.

"What?" Rare looked back up at it.

"Y-Your eye..it.." I hesitated to tell him.

"It's fine." Rare looked back down, not assessing the damage, not caring too much about what happened.

They both turned their heads at the sound of rustling and running. Rare saw Earth for a split second, parts of him being ripped and torn, most noticeably his chest, all four horns, and his tail–which bled along the ground. Earth took Rare by his arm to pull him away from the scene.
"Earth! Why-"

Rare looked back as he was spun back around once they stopped a little away, seeing the larger other of Earth's as it then–with no remorse or reason–killing his other, slamming its drill deep into its chest.

Earth then scooped up Rare, continuing to run off. Rare seemed to freeze up in shock, not realizing what happened, as if he had frozen up again. Or, maybe he just didn't know how to react. He was unable to remember how to react to anything anymore.

His thoughts came back as soon as he realized he had been teleported back to magical sanctum. Others had come around him to help him, but as he tried to speak, it was rambly and glitchy, something that hadn't happened to him in a very long time.

He hadn't ever seemed so stressed, Wubbox remembering the last time he seemed to panic like this when he and his brothers helped him escape, fearing his mother's wrath for disobeying him, and refusing to say what happened after he had left.

All Kayna was able to gather from his broken voice, was "Earth," "death," "save him." She decided to have Glowls, Rootitoot, Floogull, Krillby and Kayno go to the mirror earth island to see the fight, or aftermath, as they could be there too late.

Earth was barely able to get free from him, only having seconds of freedom before being pulled back and tortured more. With each hit, more of his familiar shapes began to break down–everything he liked, and every part which he loved about himself began to be taken away. His fangs, his rattletail, his horns, his confidence, his anger.
He finally got another moment to breathe, taking his final run to get away.

He ran as fast and far as he could, trying to think of a way to get out, and praying to gold island the fire monsters would come back for him. Stopped quickly, and felt a sudden rush of apathy, as a large gorge was now at his feet. Now, there was no way he could get out. But, he remembered something.

He had been given before landing onto the island. He was given the head of a grappling hook, which seemed useless at the time, but he saw it as his only way out.

As the steps grew loud, and heard the taunt once more, he took it out, and with great hesitation, took a step off the ground. He quickly spun his back out, and rammed it and his drill into the side of the cliff.

Fortunately, and unfortunately, the other had slipped, and fell off the cliff instead. It fell faster, giving him little time to react, as he was then penetrated by a large, strong rock-spike at the bottom by the rushing water. Its core was shattered, a small bit of the shell still remaining on the tip of the spike.

Earth looked back with horror at the sight of the death of the other. He didn't want to kill someone, it wasn't what he came here to do. He turned back around, trying to deny as he started to climb back up the side of the cliff.

Once reaching the top, he laid on his side with exhaustion. Then, curling up as he couldn't help but need comfort, or some kind of reassurance it wasn't his fault, or something. Anything!

He felt his eyes burn, starting to cry as the pain started to ping and pulse where he was injured, one eye looking as if it had split in two, like an extra window in his vision. Had he broken his iris?

It wouldn't take long for him to get back and be taken care of, but unlikely that he would be able to recover emotionally from this very quickly.
