"I need you to send this letter out to Reebro on air island. The code to the portal is, 'air island, island of the exiled." Wubbox said, handing Blipsqueak the letter quickly before moving back to his previous work.

"May I inquire?" Blipsqueak asked as they raised their scanner-like hands.

"What." Wubbox said sternly, turning back to them and narrowing his eyes as he scowled.

"Why in gold island do i need Poewk and Scream with me?" Blipsqueak questioned softly, as if nervous to be yelled at.

"I don't trust just one of you going. Poewk knows the consequences, and he will report back to me." Wubbox reasoned, a growl just under his breath

"Well, Blip, let's just get going and back quickly. I'm aching for sleep, and it'll be better if we just go as quickly as possible." Screemu sighed in their raspy, male voice.

The group of three turned back around, making their way out of the building and back into the cold, dark island's rocky blue land.
"I don't know why he doesn't trust us." Blipsqueak sighed with a puff of air.

"He doesn't trust anyone, Blip. He never did, and it didn't hold when there were just seven of us. Five ran off the island to explore without his permission, and he never forgot it." Poewk suggested.

"Oh yeah, I remember hearing that. That's probably why." Screemu nodded.

"Well, let's just get going before we're dragged into the fighting." Blipsqueak said, referring to the other wublins who were in the fighting ring, Dermit fighting against Bona.
They stepped up to the portal, Poewk said the code, and they stepped into the glowing yellow portal. As usual, they dropped into a random place on the island, but from afar, they could see some town buildings.

Screemu groaned, not wanting to walk anymore than they already have. With the lack of legs and only webbed feet, it was hard to get around efficiently, and they had to move slower than usual to not leave Screemu behind. The town grew closer with each step, and eventually made it to the sidewalk near the road, where a few cars passed by them.

The only thing Wubbox did not do was tell them where they needed to deliver this message, and where that building is. Poewk had an idea that it would be a "post office," but not where it would be, so they decided to wander around and look. There were no signs to point where, and there was no map to maybe tell them, so they walked around corners, buildings, monsters, land, and other places similarly to look.

They made up conversations to pass time while still looking out for the post office. The conversation got so intense that Poewk did not see an oncoming monster from the other corner of the sidewalk. He hit the monster with his shoulder, but he wasn't strong enough to knock it over. He turned quickly and stepped back.

"Oh goodness, I'm very sorry for running into you like that. I should've been watching." Poewk apologized, looking up at the monster that towered over him. It was bright orange, had hair similar to its fur color but parted in the middle and lay down, his head had bat-like wings, and his arms had long feather-like strands just above their long, tan claws.

"It's alright, man, I also wasn't looking, I was trying to get somewhere downtown, but my car broke so I had to walk." Riff explained, his wings gently flicking.

"Oh, that really sucks. We were just trying to get to the post office for a letter, but we have no clue where it is." Poewk informed him, not in his usual confident manor, instead keeping his head low as if he were scared, which he didn't show to anyone, not even when Wubbox yelled at him.

"Well, the post office is somewhere on the way where I'm going, I'm sure I can lead you there." Riff offered with a smile and a gesture with his claws.

"Oh that would be wonderful! Thank you very much, sir." Poewk thanked him, raising his head back up above his shoulders.

"No need for sir, my name's Riff." Riff introduced himself, placing his claws to his chest.

"Oh, I'm poewk. These are my siblings Blipsqueak and Screemu." Poewk turned back to the two behind him, who waved to Riff, who waved back.

"Nice to meet you three, now let's get going." Riff beckoned with his hand, and began to walk across the street.
Luckily the streets were not filled with cars, so he was easily able to cross, but Blipsqueak and Screemu were a bit behind. Once they did cross, Riff spoke again.

"Here, may I pick you up so that we get there faster? N-Not that i'm trying to rush, but it would be nice if i could get to where i'm going before i'm too late." He asked Screemu.

"Oh, uh. Sure?" Screemu accepted confusingly.
Screemu was then grabbed under his arms, and held against his chest, and they began to quickly move further down the sidewalks by the road. Screemu seems paralyzed in the larger monster's furry body, something he hadn't felt before.

Well, Whajje, Thwok, Scargo, and Bona had fur, Gheegur's fur was more like some kind of soggy tortilla, Poewk's fur was like velvet, Dwumrhol and Zuuker had feathers, and everyone else was made of something else. Riff, however, was willing to have others touch his fur, and the fur was more soft than anyone else's on wublin island. It was intoxicating.

Eventually, along the wall after they turned left, opened a shop, which had the sign 'post office' on top of it. Once they got close to the front door, Riff placed Screemu back down. Her eyes were still wide and filled with large pupils.

"Alright, I assume you're going to leave just after this, so go straight down for five crossings, then turn left and walk until you see it. 'Hope we'll meet again!" Riff waved to them, and kept walking further into the town.
The three waved back, then Screemu turned to them.

"Oh my god, he's so soft!!" He shook excitedly as he spoke, a big grin showing off his fangs.

"W-What?" Poewk asked with confusion.

"H-His fur! It was the softest thing i've ever felt in my life, and i've felt everything on wublin island, even Thwok, and he was the softest thing there!"

"O-Oh.." Poewk looked away quietly.

Screemu then gasped widely, placing his claws to his face. "Is someone jealous?!"

"S-Shut up! I'm not jealous about anything!"

"Someone has a cru-ush!!" Screemu teased him.

"Ok, we need to get this letter delivered. You can make fun of him later." Blipsqueak told them, placing a hand on Screemu's shoulder.

Screemu sighed, "Fine fine, i'll hold it off for now."
They then made their way into the post office, and up to the counter.

The room was mostly white, with blue outlining the corners. It had chairs lining two walls, and a desk right in the middle, and you could clearly see the back with many shelves, boxes, and many other things past the monster at the counter.

Poewk wasn't paying much attention as Blipsqueak and Screemu talked, something about how they were told to deliver it here, and Reebro wasn't there, and they couldn't send it. But something else was on Poewk's mind. That monster they had met was oddly charming to him. But maybe he was being dramatic because this was his first time leaving the island.
