My attention is drawn to Ari's maneuvers as he gets into a perfect position. She is so incredibly stunning. It's almost impossible to look away from her as she sleeps. She looks so at peace.,

Last night, we had fun. Not the fun I wish had happened but fun I enjoy. I find myself wondering if she felt the same way. I want to know if she's thinking about me. I want to know if I'm the reason she's sleeping with such peace.

I quietly move closer, feeling a warmth spreading throughout my body. I take in a deep breath and gently brush my fingers against her hair. I'm so lucky to have her in my life. Her eyes slowly open.

She looks at me with a loving smile, and I feel a wave of happiness wash over me. Our lips meet in a tender kiss and I know I will never be alone again. "Your breath stinks!" I laugh, moving my face away from her.

She rolls her eyes "Whatever" She playfully shoves me away and gives me a smirk. I take her hand in mine "Let me go straighten up first" I nod as she gets off the bed still holding on to my hand.

"Please hurry up!" she laughs dropping my hand and heading into the bathroom. I smile grabbing my phone "Dude who the hell were you talking to?" Haden says I groan sitting up. "None of your business." he snorts.

"Hey, you asshole I know Ari's voice from a mile away" I hear his footsteps. I close my eyes, my heart racing. I take a deep breath, trying to think of what to say. "Like I said none of your business," I finally reply.

Today I made sure to wake up way before Ari did. I took a shower and did whatever else I had to do in the morning. I want to take her on a date. I want to surprise her with a romantic getaway and the only problem is that the trip is 3 hours away.

It's worth it though right?

After throwing on a T-shirt and some jogging pants I walk into the bathroom. I put on some cologne and brushed my hair. "Are you heading somewhere?" Ari asks, peering through the shower curtain.

I look at her "Yes we are" her brows furrow "Why didn't I hear about this?" "It's a surprise," I tell her with a smirk. She smiles and says, "Well, let's go then!" She turns off the water and steps out of the shower.

She walks up to me her bare chest on mine "You know I'll always crave but right now is not the time" she laughs pushing me "I was getting my towel" She walks past me wrapping the towel around her body.

I stand there frozen, my heart racing. She turns to face me, her deep brown eyes sparkling with mischief. I take a deep breath, and for a moment, I forget all the reasons I shouldn't be here.

"Just hurry up and get dressed. I'll go cook something up in the kitchen." I leave the room closing the door behind me. I make my way to the kitchen. I take out some food and prepare breakfast.

I can hear her coming down the stairs. She comes and sits at the table "It smells delicious in here" she notes as she pulls her hair from the bun it was in "I get that a lot. I might be a chef" I shrug passing a plate to her.

She laughs and takes a bite of the food. "It's really good," she says. I smile back, feeling proud of my cooking. I take my plate and sit next to her and eat my food. Haden comes running downstairs. "I smell french toast!" He runs into the kitchen.

I start counting down with my fingers. "Where's my plate?" he asks coming into the dining room when I get down to 1. I grab french toast off my plate and pass it on to him. He gasps "That's it?" I put the toast back on my plate "Don't eat then."

He snatches the french toast off my plate."No!"Me and Ari both laughed and continued to eat. He takes a big bite, "You know how to make it." I smile and nod, taking a bite of my toast. We both sit in the dining room enjoying the moment.
