Wei (Y/n) entered Lotus Pier, her heart pounding with anticipation. She would finally have the chance to see her brother after all those years. Determined, she made her way toward the entrance, only to be stopped by two male cultivators who blocked her path. One of them, with a stern expression, demanded, "Stop right there. What is your business here?"

"I am here to meet Clan Leader Jiang," Wei (Y/n) replied calmly, maintaining a blank face.

"Why?" the other cultivator inquired, his tone skeptical.

"I'm sorry, but it's confidential," she responded, withholding any further explanation.

The cultivators seemed unconvinced, ready to deny her passage, when a voice, both calm and commanding, interrupted their exchange. "What is going on here?" It was the Sect Leader himself.

Both cultivators immediately bowed before their superior. "Sect Leader, this lady was demanding to see you, yet she didn't provide a solid reason for us to allow her inside," one of them explained.

Wei (Y/n) couldn't help but scoff inwardly. Demanding? That wasn't her intention at all. Nevertheless, she respectfully bowed toward the Sect Leader and addressed him directly. "Sect Leader Jiang, I apologize for any disturbance I may have caused. However, I am here to relay an important message."

Jiang Fengmian regarded her with a smile, his gaze filled with warmth. "Well then, come inside, Young Lady," he said, granting her permission to enter Lotus Pier.

The other two disciples began to protest, but Jiang Fengmian dismissed their objections with a wave of his hand. As they reached the grand hall, he took his seat in the main chair, and Wei (Y/n) positioned herself in front of him. With a respectful bow, she addressed him, "So what is your name, and who sent you here?"

Wei (Y/n) stood tall, maintaining a composed posture as she responded. "Replying to the Sect leader," she spoke with humility, "I am known as Wei (Y/n), and I am the disciple of Baoshan Sanren. I have come here to deliver a prophecy of sorts."

Jiang Fengmian regarded her kindly, his demeanor radiating warmth. "Please be at ease, child. I knew the time would come sooner or later when you would arrive here. Your parents informed me about you. I assume you have learned to control...Your powers?"

Wei (Y/n) nodded. "Yes, Sect leader," she affirmed. "I have indeed learned to control my powers."

"Very well," Jiang Fengmian responded approvingly. "You must be weary from your journey. Rest for now, and we shall discuss other matters during lunch."

A faint smile graced Wei (Y/n)'s lips as she bowed once more. "Thank you, Sect leader."

Jiang Fengmian chuckled lightly and said, "Ah, just call me Uncle. That's what your brother calls me."

Curiosity tugged at Wei (Y/n), and she inquired softly, "May I ask where is he?"

"He's not here at the moment," Jiang Fengmian replied. "But he will return within a day or two."

Wei (Y/n) nodded, expressing her understanding, and bid farewell with another bow. She then followed the servant who guided her to her designated room. Expressing her gratitude, Wei (Y/n) entered the room and, feeling a mix of relief and weariness, she sank down onto the bed, letting out a sigh.

Wei (Y/n) took out the blue hairpin that her Brother Xingchen had given her and sighed. "How are you, Big Brother? I really miss you. I wish I could see you again," she murmured, lost in her thoughts. Just then, a knock on the door interrupted her reverie. Wei (Y/n) stood up and invited the visitor to enter.
