Lan Xichen took a few moments to process what the two elders had said. They could wake her up. For real... She would wake up. Relief and happiness spread across his face as he looked at them, his smile barely containing his emotions.

"I thank both esteemed Elders for this." He bowed his head deeply, showing his gratitude. Baoshan chuckled as she stood up. "No need for that, Sect Leader Lan," she said with a smile beneath her veil.

She was genuinely happy for her disciple, whom she regarded as a daughter, and pleased that Wei (Y/n) was married to such a caring and loving man. She could see the light returning to his dull eyes at the news of his wife's impending awakening.

"Please, take us to her. The moon is about to rise... It's a full moon tonight," Archion said. He stood by the window, hands clasped behind his back, a soft look in his eyes as he gazed out.

Lan Xichen followed his gaze to see Lan Wangji and Lan Lifen meditating. He felt the elder's gaze return to him. "It's almost time, Sect Leader Lan," Archion reminded him.

Lan Xichen nodded, rising gracefully as always. Outwardly, he might have appeared unchanged, but those close to him knew the toll the past three years of her coma had taken.

Lan Qiren also stood up, watching his nephew lead Baoshan and Archion to where Wei (Y/n) rested. As they reached the door, he placed a hand on it and silently vowed, "I will not leave until you are here, right by my side." He opened the door quietly.

Inside, Wei (Y/n) lay perfectly still, her fragile figure resembling a porcelain doll. The only sign of life was the faint rise and fall of her chest. The bed was surrounded by white and pink flowers, which made Lan Xichen smile softly in recognition. His daughter had never missed a day to bring flowers to her mother, always choosing pink ones, the same as that fateful day when Wei (Y/n) had adopted her as her own.

Baoshan approached the bed, gently placing a hand on Wei (Y/n)'s pale, slightly cold cheek. "She takes after her mother..." Her voice held an emotion Lan Xichen couldn't quite interpret.

Archion moved to the other side, lightly holding Wei (Y/n)'s wrist before speaking. "Her Golden Core is stable... Stronger than before, even." He released her wrist. Lan Xichen looked at him, curious but knowing it was not the time to ask questions.

As the full moon reached its zenith, its light flooded the room, casting a soft glow on Wei (Y/n)'s ethereal figure. The gentle shadows accentuated her face, and Lan Xichen found himself smiling in awe.

Baoshan took out a crystal and placed it over Wei (Y/n)'s body. It floated in mid-air, glowing softly. Baoshan and Archion exchanged a subtle nod.

"Sect Leader Lan, ensure no one else enters," Baoshan instructed. Lan Xichen bowed to them. "Please, wake her up... I beg of you," he implored without raising his head. Archion smiled gently. "Rest assured. Now, please leave, and do not let anyone inside." Lan Xichen nodded reluctantly, stepping out but remaining just outside the door.

Inside, Baoshan and Archion began the ritual, combining their energies with the crystal's power and the moonlight to break the barrier surrounding Wei (Y/n)'s consciousness. Meiying had already weakened it significantly, knowing the time for Wei (Y/n) to stay with her was over. She needed to return to where she belonged—with her husband and family.

The crystal dissolved into thin air, filling the room with a bright light. Its tiny fragments, unseen, fell onto Wei (Y/n)'s body. Both Baoshan and Archion stepped back, shielding their eyes from the intense light.

Lan Wangji approached the room, holding his nephew. He looked at Lan Xichen with a hint of confusion. "Uncle said they are waking Sister up... Why are you waiting here?" he asked. Zhixin, seeing his father, reached out for him with a bright smile.
