Chapter: 47

Wei (Y/n) smiled as she got ready to leave to Lotus Cove. She got up and took her sword going out to the Lanshi where her husband and Uncle-In-Law sat together.

She entered the Lanshi and bowed her head in respect "Uncle, Husband." She greeted and both males smiled, her husband literally beamed seeing her.

"Come sit, (Y/n)." Lan Qiren smiled gestured her to sit. The female obliged sitting down next her husband. "You will leave today?" He asked and the couple nodded.

"Yes. We'll be leaving later today. Uncle I wanted to ask if it was alright to take my students as well?" Wei (Y/n) asked politely and the elder nodded.

"You can. As they are under your guidance now." Lan Qiren said and Lan Xichen nodded in approval. "Where is A-Fen?" Lan Xichen asked and she smiled.

"In the library with Lan Wangji. She's excited to go but wanted to finish her lesson first." Lan Xichen chuckled at her words and nodded. "I have few documents to look at before leaving... Do you mind waiting for me My Lady?" He asked the female looking at her.

"Not at all. Please do what you have to." She said smiling and Lan Qiren observed the exchange with a tender look in his eyes. 

Both of them stood up and bowed to Lan Qiren before making their way out. "I will go inform my students, you should finish your work." She smiled at Lan Xichen who nodded and took her hand, placing a soft kiss on the back of it, making the female blush slightly as they parted ways.

She walked towards the scheduled training area where she trained her disciples with a soft smile. She was really excited to go to Lotus Pier to visit her family after her wedding. And she knew Lan Lifen also missed them all.

"Master" Her three disciples greeted her in synchronization when she approached them and she smiled asking them to be at ease. 

"I'm here to tell you to get ready." She said pulling her fan out and fanning herself lightly making her bangs fly back slightly.

"Ready for what?" Lan Yufei asked and she smiled. "We're visiting Lotus Cove and you three will come along." At her words Lan Zhaolei looked at her surprised.

"R-really M-Master?" He asked slightly excited and she nodded. "Yes. You should all pack. We might be staying there for a few days." At her words they nodded and saluted.

"Oh, QiuJian please go tell A-Fen to meet me in my chambers." She told the male and he nodded saluting again before taking off to the Library as his fellow disciples went to pack.

Wei (Y/n) smiled and went back to the Hanshi where she saw no sign of her husband. 'He must be in the study.' She thought as she sat down by the table pouring herself a cup of tea.

Lan QiuJian went to the library pavilion and entered quietly. He saw Lan Wangji and Lan Lifen both sitting at the same table, with the latter writing on some papers. 

Lan QiuJian went up to them and saluted making Lan Wangji look up at the young male. "Yes?" He asked nodding to him to stand at ease. Lan QiuJian did so and stood straight. 

"Master calls Young Lady Lan to her chambers." He said bowing his head lightly and Lan Lifen looked at her uncle for permission. Lan Wangji nodded to QiuJian "You're excused." The young male saluted once more before leaving the library. 

"A-Fen you're going to Lotus Pier but don't neglect any of the principles you have learned." Lan Wangji instructed her and she nodded smiling. "Yes Uncle." Lan Wangji pat her head softly.

"Go now, your Mother is waiting." At his words the girl nodded, carefully packing the books and keeping the papers and brush away. She stood up and saluted to Lan Wangji. "I will see you soon, Uncle." She said smiling then exited the Library going to the Hanshi, leaving the male to look through her work with a smile.

She knocked on the door softly and heard her mother call her inside. She entered the room and saluted. "Mother" Wei (Y/n) smiled motioning the girl to her side. "Come here A-Fen." The younger obliged sitting next to her mother.

"Have you packed?" She asked and the girl nodded. "Yes, I have." Wei (Y/n) held her hands. "Are you excited? Its the first time you're going there as a Lan." At her words Lifen nodded.

"I am. Very much. I miss Grandma, Uncle Cheng and Uncle Ying and Auntie." She said and Wei (Y/n) smiled "Tell you what,Your Auntie is also there and maybe we could call Uncle Ying as well!" At her words the younger beamed. 

"When do we leave?" She asked excited and Wei (Y/n) chuckled. "Your Bàba is almost finished with his work, we can leave then." At her words the younger nodded. 

"I'll go say farewell to Grandfather." Lan Lifen said and her mother nodded tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and softly kissed her on the forehead.

A little while after, Lan Xichen entered the Hanshi to see his wife reading a book sitting behind the table. "Are you ready to go husband?" She asked smiling and the male nodded. 

Wei (Y/n) put a bookmark in her book and stood up. Her head began spinning and she staggered a few steps back, Lan Xichen rushed to her side allowing her to lean against his chest.

"My Lady are you fine?" He asked worried and she smiled reassuringly. "I think its just because I stood up suddenly is all." She said and he frowned at her words.

"Are you sure? Do you need to go to the healers?" He questioned and she smiled nodding. "I'm completely fine. No need to worry yourself." She said and turned to face him.

He rested a hand on her cheek and stroked it softly. "If you say so." He whispered and captured her lips in a sweet kiss. She smiled in the kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him closer if possible.

They pulled back after a few moments and rested their foreheads against each other's. "Shouldn't we be leaving?" She asked after a moment of silence.

He sighed but nodded parting and held her hand. "Shall we?" He asked and she chuckled "We shall."
