A slight breeze swept through Gusu and Wei (Y/n) smiled as she stood in front of her disciples. Lan Zhixin let go of her hand and began to wobble around the garden giggling and laughing.
"Master. It has been long since we've trained In front of you.." Yufei said with a smile and she sighed. "I know... I have neglected my duties as a Master and failed to teach you as I should have." She said softly and Qiujian shook his head.
"We always had your guidance, Master." He smiled showing her a book. She took it and flipped through the pages. "I could never complete this before..." She trailed off but shook her head closing it.
"Now that I'm here.. You should show me how far you've come." She smiled and they all nodded saluting. "Yes, Master."
Lan Xichen wrote a letter to her family to inform them of her awakening. And to his sworn brothers as well, as Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen had decided to hold a small gathering celebrating her return. He sent out the letters and went back to his work, wanting to finish it as soon as he could.
--
The letter in Yunmeng was received by Wen Qing and she gasped as she read through it. She rushed to the main hall where she knew Jiang Cheng and Madame Yu would be.
"Sect Leader, Madame Yu." She greeted them both and Madame Yu looked at her. "What is A-Qing? Is everything fine?" She asked and Wen Qing nodded with a smile.
"A letter came from Gusu." She said with the same smile. "You look extremely happy.." Jiang Cheng noted with a small smile and she looked at him.
"I should. The letter from Sect Leader Lan says Hexia-zun has awoken." Her words cast silence and Madame Yu stood up immediately, taking the letter from her and smiling herself when she read the letter. "Da-Jie is awake?" Jiang Cheng said with a surprised look, standing up as well.
"She is... Finally. Thank Heavens." Madame Yu sighed. "Hurry you should get ready. I want to meet A-(Y/n) as soon as I can." She smiled and both of them nodded, leaving to get ready.
--
"I'm impressed... You have all excelled in learning the fighting style." She smiled as they sat together for tea. She lifted her veil slightly to take a sip of her tea.
"Thank you, Master." Zhaolei smiled, "...but we are still beginners compared to you." At his words, she chuckled. "I'm sure you will surpass me after learning it fully." She said softly, and Zhixin who was playing around came to her holding a small stone in his hand.
He smiled and held it out for her. "Māma! Look." He exclaimed and she turned to him. "Hm? Oh! Xin'er brought this for me?" She asked and the boy nodded his head making her laugh. She took his from his hands gently and then picked him up. "Thank you so much Xin'er!" She kissed his head and he laughed again, trying to have her let go.
Her disciples smiled at the scene not saying anything to not disturb them both and just observed. Lan Lifen came there soon, greeted them all, and sat next to Wei (Y/n). Zhixin's eyes rested on his sister and he held out his hands. "A-Jie!"
Lifen smiled and took her brother from Wei (Y/n), "A-Xin hasn't played with me today.." She said with a smile poking his nose and he caught her hand laughing, the scene made Wei (Y/n)'s heart melt. Her children had grown up well, grown up as close as she had wished them to be.
"Oh! Mother; Father and Grandfather have arranged a gathering for your return. Uncle and Auntie would be coming." Her voice held mild excitation. As she should feel. They had visited often when her mother was unconscious but the visits were always solemn. She missed seeing her aunt and uncles smiling with her mother.
