She said angrily and all eyes turned to her. 

Jin Guangshan laughed nervously and waved his hand in a dismissive manner. "Madame Jiang interprets this wrong. I did not mean to say that." He said but Yu Ziyuan was not buying it. "Of Course, you didn't." She scoffed and glared at him and turned to glare at Clan Leader Yao as he spoke up.

"Right. Sect Leader Jin asked Wei Wuxian to hand in the Stygian Tiger Amulet out of kindness. He is afraid that Wei Wuxian can't control it well which may lead to a disaster. Something which never happened and there was no chance of it being true but they felt the need to side with him as according to them Jin Guangshan and the Jin Sect were now in power and they had to be the supporters so when need be they could have the advantages they sought.

Before Wei (Y/n) or Madame Yu could say something to shut them up, The Second Young Master of Lan spoke up. "No, I didn't." Lan Wangji spoke and his voice was loud and clear. The ones opposing Wei Ying silenced and looked at him but he sat there unwavering. Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen turned to look at him. Wei (Y/n) and Jiang Cheng also turned to look at him the female with a slight smile.  I knew You'll never leave my brother alone...

"What did you say?" Jin Guangyao questioned and Lan Wangji glared at him and spoke sternly "I never heard Wei Ying say that, neither did I see him show any disrespect to Sect Leader Jiang." He said and Jin Guangyao looked at him with a smile. "Really? That day at the Phoenix Mountain Crowd Hunt, Young Master Wei was so aggressive and he said many words, one more shocking than another. Maybe he said something similar. I just can't recall it clearly." (Y/n) frowned. His behavior seemed a little off to her like he was planning something but she shrugged it off.
