Still, on Faith's back, Wei (Y/N) soared above the chaotic battleground of Yunmeng, witnessing the brutal clash between the disciples of Yunmeng and the ruthless Wen faction. The Wens held the upper hand, mercilessly slaughtering anyone in their path, even the junior disciples. Amidst the chaos, Madam Yu valiantly fought against numerous Wens simultaneously.

Pulling out Yì Jūn, Wei (Y/N) brought it close to her lips and played a resounding, prolonged note. The Wens paused, their eyes turning towards her, meeting her unwavering gaze. With a stern expression, she raised a hand. Just as the Wen archers prepared to release their arrows, vines emerged from the ground, swiftly entwining their bodies, rendering them immobile. Taking advantage of the disabled Wens, Wei (Y/N) leaped off Faith's back and joined Madam Yu's side.

"What are you doing here?!" Madam Yu yelled angrily. "I told you to go with them?!"

"And I told you that I will not leave you to fight alone," Wei (Y/N) replied, unsheathing Jù Lóng. "Don't worry, I sent Luna with them to keep them safe," she reassured, launching herself into combat against a Wen disciple. Madam Yu nodded, resuming her fierce engagement with the enemy. However, Jiang Fengmian had yet to arrive.

Wei (Y/N) continued fighting, skillfully maneuvering through the battlefield. As the battle raged on, she and Madam Yu became separated, their paths diverging. High above, Faith diligently guarded Wei (Y/N), intercepting any arrows aimed in her direction. With a quick glance, Wei (Y/N) saw Madam Yu surrounded by a horde of Wens, visibly fatigued from her prolonged struggle. Without hesitation, she sprinted towards her, determined to provide aid.

However, Wen Zhuliu suddenly appeared, blocking Wei (Y/N)'s path. Coming to an abrupt halt, she let out a piercing whistle. Responding immediately, Faith swooped down, positioning himself between Wei (Y/N) and Wen Zhuliu. Anticipating an attack, Wei (Y/N) gripped her sword tightly, assuming a ready stance. Wen Zhuliu lunged forward, but Faith intercepted the strike, protecting Wei (Y/N) from harm.

As Wei (Y/n) was engrossed in her confrontation with Wen Zhuliu, her attention was diverted, and she failed to notice a Wen disciple taking aim and shooting an arrow directly at her. The arrow pierced her arm, and she couldn't help but hiss in pain as she turned her gaze back to the Wen soldier. Feeling the sharp ache, she gritted her teeth and swiftly pulled the arrow out, her controlled powers finally surging through her being. A chilling laughter escaped her lips, devoid of any semblance of control over her own body.

Bolts of lightning crackled and danced along her sword as she swung it with newfound strength, striking down the Wen soldier in a single fluid motion. Yet, her heightened senses caught sight of Lingjiao, poised to stab her sixth junior brother. Reacting instinctively, Wei (Y/n) extended her hand, commanding the very vines around her to ensnare Lingjiao's body, effectively immobilizing her. With determined steps, she approached her adversary.

"You! You caused my brother to suffer. I will end you!" Wei (Y/n) declared, her sword raised menacingly. However, before she could land a decisive blow, Faith intervened, forcefully separating Wei (Y/n) from Lingjiao. Wei (Y/n) held onto the junior disciple, her grip firm.

"My Lady, please regain control of yourself! You're only causing harm to yourself," Faith pleaded, flying in front of Wei (Y/n)'s face. Confusion and frustration filled Wei (Y/n)'s eyes as she shouted, "Why didn't you let me finish her?"

"Cores crusher slipped past me and positioned himself in front of her. Your anger blinded you, preventing you from noticing him. Your core might have been destroyed," Faith calmly explained. Wei (Y/n) let out a heavy sigh, the weight of the situation sinking in.

Wei (Y/n) took deep breaths, attempting to calm both herself and her powers. Once she had regained control, she spoke with determination, "Faith, I need you to take all the junior disciples out of here to safety. If you fly fast, you might be able to reach Gusu Lan." Faith was taken aback by the request. "You sent Luna away with your brother, and now you're asking me to leave too? Your powers will be weakened, and your spiritual energy... It's very dangerous!" she exclaimed, concerned for (Y/n)'s well-being.
