Okay so I've put it at 3

years, I don't know if I've mentioned the years yet. But this is sort of a flashback short chapter that I litterally thought of doing minutes ago and I have no idea what's going to happen/I'm making it up as I go along but I want a demon backstory.

I'm still leaving you all a little longer on that cliff hanger, also I apologize for any spelling errors its almost 4am.

Finally just a random question for everyone about my writing and writing style.
Looking back at my first books I cringe so much I was a terrible writer but I was still young back then , anyway I know I've improved alot but in all honesty apart from my grammar and spelling errors at times, is my writing okay?

I ask because you guys are the only ones who have read my writing in this sorta style and when considering my future I'm thinking something to do with writing so constructive feedback is appropriated here.

(I apologize for how Stephanie and Damon's relationship is written, I want it to sound like a much better relationship with Clara so it might not be the best)

Damon hadn't been the boss for long but he had already made a name for himself. His father was often around making sure he didn't do to much damage. He  had a habit of killing of anyone who got in his way.

But everyone had a weakness.

His weakness was Stephanie.  They met during university/college. And it seemed to good to be true as they both got along great, Damon was the happy care free man, that Alesandro had hoped for, when he was around Stephanie.

They had been together a few years now and Damon had told her about the Mafia a few months prior and he was happy that after the initial shock she accepted it.  After that they were inseparable, she came with him to all the Mafia stuff and he showed her lots of different things in the Mafia.

He taught her how to shoot, or so he thought.

One summer's day the couple were leaving the Mafia grounds hand in hand. No one had been shot today.

"Steph you are amazing you know that" Damon said before they kissed. Steph kissed him back gladly not wanting the moment to end in a way.

"I'm not interrupting am I" Olivia suddenly appeared with Callum by her side. Both of them grinned at their friend. Olivia was wary of his temper but Callum had no problem with it.

"Go find something more useful to do instead of harrassing me" Damon said giving them both a death glare .

"We wanted to spend time with you though" Callum said like he was some sort of child.

"Tough. Me and Steph are going out" Damon said putting a arm around his girlfriend.

Callum hated Stephanie as he saw the effect it had on Damon. He cared more about her than the Mafia.
Olivia hated Stephanie because she had told Olivia that she shouldn't be friends with Damon because he had her.

When the two left knowing not to push their luck , Steph spoke.
"They are always getting in our way, you should demote them"

"They are two of my closest friends, I will not be demoting them based on such a trivial thing especially when they are the best at their job" Damon said.

"But babe don't you care about my feelings, I don't like how they treat me"

"Sorry Steph but I won't be demoting them"

Stephanie sighed "you're right....again.After all it id your mafia. I was just hoping I could help you"

Damon looked at her with annoyance.
So maybe they weren't perfect. Majority of the time they were perfect but Damon hated how she would get like this
"You're right. The Mafia is mine. Not yours. I will make all the changes I see fit. End of this conversation" he warned.

"Yeah okay let's go on that walk"

And so they did. The happy couple walked along a small path holding hands as they spoke to each other.

"I'm sorry Steph you know I won't ever share my position with anyone. You're welcome to make minor suggestions but but not personnel ones" he said wanting to cheer her up.

"See the thing is I know that. I have known that the moment I met you" she said making Damon question everything.  How did she know?

"Boys" she called

8 men came out of various spots, all had been hidden.

Damon was corned by them.

"What the hell Steph. Call them off. Who the fuck do you work for"

"Me of course" Brookes snickered as he walked up to them.

"We have  enough information to take over your pathetic mafia" she laughed.

"You think that but you don't " Damon got out of the shock and within a minute, 8 men were dead.

But more kept coming

Damon fought for his life.

Luckily Callum hated Stephanie and knowing he wasn't in a good position , he asked Mason to help. Mason gladly went to the location but all he saw was Damon fighting off dozens of men. He took out his gun  an fought the men killing them gr a short distance as he went and joined his brother.

The brothers fought side by side with Steph laughing as her and Joseph stood side by side watching. She was growing impatient though so she took a gun and tried to kill Damon. It hit him but it wasn't fatrl. He shot her back but couldn't help but make sure he didnt kill her.

When the brothers managed to kill everyone, they watched Joseph Brookes flee the scene practically dragging Steph with him.

"What the fuck" Mason said.

"Not now, I need to go to my apartment and sort this wound out" Damon wasn't in a good mood.

"Not happening you're coming home. Dad will want to check on you anyway"

Damon begrudgingly let it happen and just like Mason said, Alesandro was waiting patiently with a first aid close by.

"My boys tell me what happened"

And they did.

From that moment onwards. Stephanie would fear him, he would become her worst nightmare. He swore he would kill her.

I will be involved alot more.  I just wanted to give a bit of background first also falling asleep so best time to stop the first part
