Okay so you can skip this if you don't care about the timeline but I just wanted to clear up a few things before starting the chapter.

Last chapter (chapter 132) took place on a Sunday. Clara and Sienna weren't in it as they were planning their trip.

This chapter takes place on the Friday evening.

Nothing has happened in the week that's gone. Just them  going to school or work.  No drama. But I've skipped a few days so I can write this chapter.

It had been a few days since their father had told them about how they would be spending the weekend together and they could pick anything but none of them had any ideas what to do.

As Clara and Sienna had left Friday evening, Damon decided to go to his dad's home Friday evening. Well actually he was ordered to go home.

He was looking for a quiet night but his siblings demanded he come over so they can decide what to do. (Matteo and Emilia were very demanding when they wanted to be.)

So that led Damon to be sat casually listening to his two youngest siblings ramble on about ideas.

Ironically he could see them being twins out of everyone. They finished each others sentences, they seemed to bounce of each others ideas and they thrived on each others energy.

Mason listened to them and had the same idea as Damon. He loved his siblings and each one had a special bond with each other but it was obvious Matteo and Emilia connected on a different level.

The boys all bonded with Emilia differently. Everyone knew Damon and Emilia had an unbreakable bond, he was her protector and at the same time they liked to bully each other. Emilia knew she could have serious talks with Damon. And Damon was always mindful of her mental health and her trauma.

Contrasting this, Matteo and Emilia's bond was pure. They both focused on the positives of life. They didn't really go into deep talks, they simply lived in the moment. They had the most pure relationship, nothing mafia related, no fights. Just two energetic teens.

"You know we can do more than one thing" Damon decided to point out as he listened to them narrow down ideas.

"Well we have the evening planned. We need a day time activity"  Matteo said as he scanned the paper with all the things he had wrote down.

"How about we keep it simple" Mason suggested.

"The beach?" Emilia suggested. They lived on the outskirts of the busy town centre, still only a short drive but it was peaceful where they lived and again only a short drive to one of the local beaches.

"Bit boring" Dante commented.

"But relaxing, and besides they have this new cafe near the beach that's just opened up. Apparently it does amazing ice-cream sundaes" Emilia said.

"You had me at ice-cream" Matteo said smiling.

"Suppose I can throw you to the sharks" Damon said.

"I think it will be good for dad too" Emilia continued ignoring Damon on purpose. Giving him the silent treatment would irritate him more.

"What are you talking about now" Dante asked.

"Well think about it. He does everything for us. He works all week, he comes home makes us dinner, he makes sure we have everything we need. If we want something, he'll get it. He spends so much time between work and taking care of us, he just wants family time. So I think we should do something relaxing, something easy so he doesn't have to go out of his way to much"
