chapter 57

Before everyone hates Alesandro just remember he has his reasons.
he will always put his kids first. Their safety is important to him especially  after Alice, the mother of his children and how she treated Emilia. 
Alesandro was a single father, he knows the damage Alice has done. Alice used the Mafia against him to kidnap Emilia in the first book. He had to kill his ex wife to protect himself and children.
So before you judge him harshly remember his actions although wrong, he does have a reason.

Also I don't know if I've given Sienna a age but since Alesandro is 45/46 I'm thinking Sienna could be around 40.

Alesandro decided to visit Sienna. They were now friends after all and he wanted to check in on her.

When he got to her apartment he noticed no one answered and usually he would have gone away but he could hear shouting inside so not liking the thought of Sienna being in there he decided to pick the lock rather than aggressively break it down. The door opened and he saw a man screaming threats at Sienna.

"He fucking broke my wrist and you don't do fuck all. You fucking bitch. You denied it even happened when I went to the police" her ex shouted.

He had tried to report Damon but Sienna had covered for Damon saying her ex had come asking for money, Damon had told him to leave and her ex left. There was no breaking of wrist. And being a dodgy neighbourhood the police had decided not to go after the successful and famous businessman who truthfully scared them as he had the power to remove them from their jobs. So they blamed it on some people living in the neighborhood.

"You shouldn't have been here" she replied.

"Let's see how you can cook when I break yours" the man threatened.

Alesandro made his presence known at that moment.

"Oh so now you have the whole fucking family just popping round" the man snapped glaring at Sienna.

"And such good timing too" Alesandro said glaring at the man.

"How did you get in" the man asked.

"Doesn't really matter. I'm here now" Alesandro replied.

"You broke in. That's it I'm calling the police" he exclaimed.

"Go for it...wait I'll make the call myself" Alesandro replied. He proceeded to call. Reporting it as what he thought was a break in and attempted physical assault.

The man tried to leave but Alesandro pushed him back. "oh you're not leaving. And if you don't want your arm broken, I suggest you sit down and wait for the police"

Sienna had been trying not to listen. This was a whole different side to Alesandro but she knew it was because the family were in the Mafia.

She figured she must be insane for just accepting it. Well she did have her reasons.

The police eventually showed up and two different stories were told.

Alesandro said he was visiting his head chef as she had called in sick and wanted to check if she was okay, he thought she was out but then heard arguing so he entered only to find Sienna being threatened.

And her ex had claimed he was visiting Sienna when Alesandro broke in.

They had interviewed them separately so they had both been taken out of the flat by two different officers whilst one remained in the flat to ask Sienna questions.

In the end the man was taken in against. After all he had already gone to the cops about his fingers. Sienna's story closely matched Alesandro's. And the officers didn't dare bring the man with the most power into custody .
