Day 3 of Sienna living with Alesandro
Sienna was happy she was allowed to go back to work. She felt like nothing could ruin her mood.
Alesandro decided it was more convenient if he dropped her off on the way to work.
She agreed simply because she couldn't wait to get back into the kitchen.
"Will you be doing the lunch and evening service" Alesandro asked before she got out of the car.
"Both of course. Like I told you I'm fine" she replied. She noticed Alesandro look slightly dissapointed for a second but his expression quickly became neutral again.
"Why" she wondered if she was missing something.
"You mentioned you wanted to go to the boys game so I was asking to see if it's still the case" Alesandro explained.
"It's tonight? The boys never said the date. In that case I'll just do the lunch shift and prep for evening if that's okay" she felt slightly guilty for not realising.
"Right. I thought the boys would have mentioned the day. I'll pick you up once I'm done with work" he said.
When she had said both shifts, his first thought was how he would explain to them she wasn't coming but he soon realised she had no clue when the game was. He presumed Matteo had told her everything down to the specifics.
"Okay. I'll see you tonight" and with that Sienna got out of the car and walked into the restaurant.
Throughout the day, Alesandro wasn't really paying much attention to the meetings, he was thinking about how he could make it up to Sienna.
She wasn't materialistic so he couldn't solve it with money.
Not that he had planned to throw money at the problem.
This was a personal matter and he believed all personal matters shouldn't be solved by money. His way of solving stuff was taking time out of his day with small gestures too.
He didn't think he had done anything so far to make up for his actions but to Sienna he had.
Sienna hadn't forgiven him yet but she was starting to. Yesterday she had felt insecure by the young women who looked like models. But then along came Alesandro and made it a point to call her beautiful.
He had taken all her opinions seriously and often agreed.
Whilst working that day she couldn't help but think back to a conversation they had, had last night.
"I just don't understand why women attend just to gossip and drink can't they get brunch together or something" Sienna had asked.
Alesandro smiled slightly at her suggestion "personally I think it's rather pointless too. But it is a charity event so businessmen like to bring dates" Alesandro had replied.
"And what's with it being businessmen. Why were they no women who run businesses" she asked.
"Because most of those women were just dated, purposely brought to make the man look good. A few of the women did actually own businesses but they all rather gossip but I suppose that's how it is. You have a range of men there. There was the old ones, they are traditional stuck in their ways and are labelled as the provider of their family. Then you have the others what believe a attractive woman next to them will seal the deal."
"Well that's stupid, if I had a business I'd be trying to get a business deal"
"That's another reason, most men approach me for their deals as I'm the richest and most successful but it's well known I don't spend much time listening to women"
