"I still think this is a bad idea" Damon called. He was waiting for her to finish getting ready for the evening.
"It will be fine, besides Ive put one of your gun in my bag, for protection" Clara replied walking out of the bathroom, she was wearing a dark blood red satin dress, with a split up the thigh. She had a red clutch which obviously held a gun. How did she get? She simply went into damons office and took it, he of course realised shortly after but he didn't care. It was better she had something then nothing. And yes they both realised there was less lethal ways to protect themselves but with how things went last time, they both thought a gun was acceptable.
Now Damon had seen Clara in night out clothes before when she had done jobs for him but that was different. He had to be professional then so he didn't look to much at her. Now though, he wanted them in the bedroom. He didn't want her to leave.
"You know I can think of better ways to spend the evening" he said as he made his way to her.
"Yeah I'm sure you can" Clara muttered.Damon leaned in and whispered exactly what he wanted in this moment, and Clara's face turned a deep shade of red.
"Maybe another time" she replied quickly. She was about to walk away when he grabbed her hand "do I not get a kiss goodbye" he asked innocently like he hadn't just made a very graphic comment."There" she gave him a quick kiss on the lips. She knew Damon was slightly disappointed but she wanted to mess with him a little.
"Okay, if you get into any trouble, message me or even call me" Damon said. Yes he was hoping for a longer kiss, but he decided not to push it.
"I'll be fine. It's one of your clubs after all" she told him.
"Yes and there's still bad people who go" he reminded her.
"Aren't you and Callum outside though waiting for an ID on the dealer before coming in" she asked.
"Yes and when we find the person we'll take them away quietly, I don't like causing scenes at my clubs. It would mean the press won't stop hounding me about giving statements" he explained.
"What if I can't message you. I might as well just wear a ear piece"
"It's not a mission, you can go drink do whatever you want. I don't need to hear the conversations" Damon told her.
"I don't plan to have any deep meaningful conversations with Olivia" she replied.
"Why agree? You don't like her so why spend time with her?" Damon asked.
"She's your friend. I don't want to see you fighting with her because of me" she replied. She didn't like feeling she was ruining their friendship.
"Very well I'll try to stay out of it. But you can stand up for yourself against her. Don't hold back because of me" he reassured her.
"but I don't want you to be forced to take sides" she told him.
"I won't take sides then unless she hurts you or you hurt her. severely" Damon replied. Olivia was still his friend yet he knew no matter what, he would be on Clara's side. She had become one of the most important people in his life.
He went and got two ear pierces "we'll keep this between us" he said handing her one, meaning neither would share with Callum or Olivia that they are wearing one. "and if you want me to take mine out, just say" he added knowing she might want to talk with Olivia without him hearing.
"lets go, Callum and Olivia are probably waiting outside" Damon said once they were both ready.
"right we'll be about, send a picture or message a description of the person once you find them Olivia. Other than that, we'll see you both later" Damon said.
