Hi guys so it's been a while. I don't know whether updates will be as frequent just yet. I haven't updated as I did go on holiday but came back extremely ill which I still am so apologies if my writing isn't too good

It had been a few days since Clara discovered that Damon had a traitor. And although Damon wanted nothing more than to torture him, he was more calculated so instead he had him watched. He had Olivia follow him to find out exactly what he was dealing with . It was poor timing really, he already had his hands full.

He had his legal work
He was still planning on taking down the American gang, that was ongoing and would be dealt with in a few days. He planned to use Clara to bait them, he really didn't care if they killed her, he wanted them gone from his land. But since Clara found the traitor, he figured he would be a little nice about it meaning if she died , she died but if they could take down the American gang before they killed her, then that would work.
Clara had been quiet really, she didn't really leave the room she had been given, Damon didn't care but Callum and Mason seemed to care and kept asking him to speak to her. Damon refused. He didn't care as long as she didn't cause more trouble.

On top of all his work, he was worried for his sister who hadn't brought up him running the Mafia again.
Even Matteo and Dante didn't know she knew just yet.
He was worried she wasn't processing it.

And of course there was family stuff their dad had planned. A visit to their grandparents soon, their uncle (Adrian) with Xander and Zach were spending more time with them. Xander often helping out with little stuff but Damon refused to let his cousin jump straight into a gang war.

Most of the family wouldn't hesitate to get involved. Matteo was different though.

He had learnt all about self defense, he was good at sport so he could easily pass any fitness test that Damon required of any members of the mafia.

Damon made them work hard but wouldn't let any member go on a job without passing a test, usually a fitness one or target practices.

Damon continued some of Alesandros policies only more harshly. When Alesandro was the boss, anyone who went out on a job had to pass a series of tests and keep the results up. He also made sure the members were all healthy. Alesandro didn't want a job going wrong even for slightest issues like one of them being dehydrated. Damon suffered slightly to this, Damon scrapped most of  the health exams and only focused on two things. Their fitness and their use of a knife and gun. Damon couldn't care less if someone passed out, he didn't care if they were in pain. As long as they got the job done.

Matteo was willing to go with his older brothers if needed, but he knew he didn't want to be a criminal.

He considered himself the odd one out most of the time. Growing up his father made it clear the boys never had to join the Mafia. Alesandro was more than willing to keep working until he couldn't anymore then choose a successor from the members of the Mafia,  but of course all his sons wanted to join.

But as Matteo grew older he lost interest.

He knew he didn't want to start a business and run it. His name held so much power that even now he could start one and be successful within the first month.

But he didn't want that.

He was greatful his father supported his decisions so much, even if he didn't really have an idea about his future.

So as he was walking home from hanging out with some friends, he took the long way home, he needed to clear his head and his curfew wasn't for hours.

His thoughts were a mess but a group of men circling someone snapped him out of his thoughts.
