"so what are the rules" Callum asked casually causing Damon to look up from the book he was reading.

"What do you mean rules? Why would there be any rules" Damon felt slightly hurt. Why would he give his girlfriend rules?

"You know the whole speech about if she has one hair out of place then I'll kill you" Callum clarified.

"She knows how to look after herself" Damon said .

He was worried but he faked his lack of interest. Clara and Damon had already planned this out. He wasn't going to give death threats simply because they wanted to see what he was like. Could Callum be trusted?
He hoped so.

But Olivia was a close friend who would never betray him at least that's what he always thought.

"Okay. Great let's get going Clara" Callum said and ruffled her hair.
"Seriously?" Clara complained as she ran her fingers through her hair to get it back to how it originally was. Damon watched slightly amused.

"I figured I'd test the one hair out of place theory" he shrugged.

"Get out of my home" Damon stated with fake annoyance.

Callum fained hurt and held his hand to his heart "I am wounded Damon. Here I thought we were best friends"

"I tolerate you " Damon replied bluntly but he still held a small smile.

God he hoped Callum could be trusted.

" Oh well I'll just have to get revenge for your lack of hospitality " Callum said.

Damon and Clara both looked at Callum with concern.

"Yep it's decided I'm going to tell Emilia how you were rude to be" Callum said not even realising the looks he had received.

Damon rolled his eyes "I will just tell my dad to stop feeding you"

"I hear your dad's girlfriend is a good cook, I'll recruit her" Callum said.

"I'll just have to give her a call and tell her to ignore you" Damon replied.

"So rude. Fine I'm kidnapping your girlfriend instead " Callum said.

Again recieving concerned looks.

"Right poor choice in words. I'm taking Clara from you....wait no I'm leaving and Clara is coming... wait " Callum had realised his mistake and was trying to fix it.

"Just go" Damon said .

All he could think was

Please dont let Callum be involved.

"Poor choice of words back there I do apologise " Callum said once he and Clara had left.

"It's okay. Besides it was slightly entertaining to see you both tease each other like that" Clara admitted.

"Yes well what's the point of being friends with Damon knowing you can get away with insulting him and not taking the opportunity" Callum told her.

"Yeah you have both known each other a while I suppose" Clara was actually trying to get him to tell her anything.

"Yep. Besties for life" Callum replied overly cheerful.

"Oh god....how are you even a criminal when you speak like that" Clara said.

"Sorry I just love messing with him so I've got used to calling him bestie because it irritates him so much"

"I thought Holly was his best friend" Clara asked.

Callum sighed "how about we just get a coffee and talk"

"Sooo holly?" Clara asked once more once they both were in a corner booth of a coffee shop with a coffee.
