chapter 54

So I'm struggling with names so suggest names. Please don't suggest your own if you're not comfortable with them being the bad person as most likely they will, some will also be friends.

"So how are you finding things here" Alesandro asked. He had started Sienna in the other restaurant the next day and so he dropped by to check on her.

"Yeah it's so much better here. Thank you for doing this" Sienna replied.

"I'm glad, if you ever have any problems feel free to reach out" Alesandro said. He knew he was never like this with any other staff member. He'd have fired Sienna everyday if she was just like the rest of them. She wasn't afraid to just comply  and he liked that. But at the same time if anyone else didn't comply he fired them.

He was a busy man and he didn't have time for people messing up.

"I do have to ask your opinion on something more personal though" he was going back and fourth with it all day and seeing Sienna kindly smiling I'm front of him, he felt he had to ask her take on it.

"What is it" she asked.

"Emilia asked if her boyfriend could sleep over. I want to say no but she's 16, I know they won't be doing anything but it's still a big step for them. Part of me wants to be strict and say no, another part is saying if he sleeps in the guest room but logically they'd end up together by morning "

Sienna was shocked he was asking for advice on this manner. But with no one around she figured he'd let his guard down a little.

"How serious is the relationship " she asked.

"That's the big question. They have been friends since she moved in but haven't been dating long despite liking each other for ages"

"You know I can't tell you how to parent her" Sienna pointed out.

"But you could give me your opinion " he suggested. He respected her for not telling him how he should parent, he  was only after an opinion.

"I'd let her. You don't want her sneaking out of the house and spending the night with him instead" she replied.

"Thank you. That's really helpful" Alesandro said. He didn't realise this wouldn't be the last time he'd ask her for advice. The moment they started co parenting was probably when she started feeding Matteo. Yet they weren't aware she actually was.

"Before you go, I made Matteo some brownies" she said after they were done with the conversation.

She got out two take away boxes both filled with brownies.

"One is for Damon. He focuses to much on his younger siblings rather than himself" she said not bothering to mention she knows he will be at work all night and with all the criminal activities she didn't think he'd have time to eat.

Now she never freaked out or called the cops for various reasons. One was because she'd be out of a job, another she didn't want to end up dead. And the part she tried to deny. She had feelings for Alesandro and didn't want to be responsible for trying to put his son in prison. And despite all the rumours, there was never one where the Mafia went after innocent people.

"Well I believe it's still your lunch break would you like to get lunch and talk about something other than my annoying children" he asked.

Sienna knew she shouldn't but she agreed.

They went to a small restaurant down the road and she couldn't deny that she was falling for her boss. He pulled out her chair before she could sit down, they talked about most things, everything simply fell into place when they were together.

Alesandro was thinking similar thoughts. He couldn't ignore the growing feelings he had for her.

And the scariest part for him was that when he looked at Sienna, he could see himself having a future with her.

The way she laughed and smiled. He loved being the reason why.

On the way back, he again had his arm around her.
It just happened and neither of them said anything they just accepted it

"Remember any time call me" he said referring to any issues before leaving.

That night thanks to Sienna's opinion, Antonio did stay over but nothing happened. Dante and Matteo were protective at first but they soon realised they weren't being fair however they still made sure she was okay. Alesandro required the door to be slightly open at all time.

Antonio was very laid back but if you said something he didn't like multiple times then he would step in. And her brothers knew there was a limit so didn't push it.

In the morning Dante went to wake them for school and he glared when he saw them cuddling. A protective streak coming out and he wanted to beat Antonio. He had to remind himself Antonio wasn't a threat.

And the way he did that was by looking at Emilia. The smile on her face. She was happy. She was comfortable to do whatever she wanted now. She had come so far from being  broken and too scared to talk.

And that's why he accepted Antonio.

Okay so please let me know what you think of the chapters being like this as I'm wanting to get characters in a relationship. For example this had Alesandro and Sienna in it and then Emilia and Antonio.
So 1 half chapter focusing on one character.
And 1 half focusing on another.

Also I am going to continue every now and then writing about Antonio and Emilia.  Due to Emilia's trauma, there won't be anything sexual between them.

I really need to get Alesandro and Sienna together. I'm just debating how but it's going to happen soon.
